I called my local radio station Y98 again today and she told me they don't have the song yet. She's the gal who told me weeks ago that they are one of the last stations to play a new song because they wait until they see how it's doing in other areas. : I wanted to tell her to get off their a$$ and play the song. But I was very nice and just said I was looking forward in them playing the song and Thank you very much. Ugh...I really dislike the power DJ's have over my listening pleasure!! :(

From the comments of this YT "I thought I was going to hate it. I didn't. I'm kinda glad they chose someone so flamboyant, 'cause that was Freddie." ETA: had to embed, this is just so great Oh.. I forgot to answer the question (yesterday or the day before yesterday?) re where Adam went so much out that his voice broke - it is at 2:48 in this recording ...unless you think he did that on purpose... your thoughts... I definitely assumed that was on purpose. I felt he had the least 'control' in the low part of WWRY when he moved back to Brian just before the guitar solo that finishes the song. Adam actually just 'spoke' the last 'rock you' as he has a difficult time powering out that low in his register....that is what I thought....

Yeah, to me it was a stylistic choice! I liked it! I'll join the pile on as one who found it to be exactly what he wanted it to be! Never crossed my mind to even wonder... I think it's interesting, how that Adam is usually perfect like, maybe 99.9% of the time, and that one time when he's a little off, we think that it's intentional, till he tells us later on that he really did made a slight mistake. Kind of like the last note for Mad World on Top 8, the trip/roll in the AMA's, etc., I don't think it makes someone less of a fan or something to notice or wonder about these things.... :

Ugh...I really dislike the power DJ's have over my listening pleasure!! :( I agree. Sometimes I feel like I'm always listening to the PD/DJ's personal playlist whenever I listen to radio.

I was hoping for London, New York, and Tokyo! I can wait for 2013 for that to happen though! And remember, nothing is confirmed until it is confirmed!! ;D How about Moskova - Maxidrom??

Someone who thinks the note is not off has just as much of a right to say that too, don't they?

Roger Taylor would have an aneurysm if he read his music described that way. There were precious few songs that were borderline "disco" and they were Freddie songs that the band did against Roger's wishes and Brian's better judgment. I consider them rock to power rock to stadium rock to orchestral rock with the odd novelty tune. But I would never associate the word disco with Queen. Maybe they confused Queen's music with 'Dancing Queen'? ;D ;D ;D

I've never once thought so and I've listened a zillion times. I have no problem calling him out when something doesn't work...it's happened - but not here. nope, you can't convince me.

They put Adam's interview in Queen official website. I'm pretty sure both Brian & Roger are even more proud of Adam right now, to work with a very talented young man but at the same time also very smart, witty and down to earth.
