Woo Why no Glastonbury? Do you know? I think because of the Olympics...not sure though ! LOL just googled it and one of the reasons cited is that portable toilets will be too expensive thanks to Olympics ;D Thanks Shev! I didn't think about it, makes sense about the Olympics. They couldn't have enough police, they must focus on the Olympics.

I love how Adam snuck in a promo for his album, Trespassing in there. And also, did anyone realise that the writer said that this will be/is his FIRST interview with Adam? So its going to be another one, maybe promoting the festival more or his album!! \0/! I heard that NME is the biggest, or one of the biggest music mags in the UK, like Rolling Stone but, more music orientated, and not as commercial. Not sure if that's true. I'm happy and stoked. Shoshanna is doing really well. I can't believe we actually hated her first Era.

NME Magazine @nmemagazine Reply Retweeted Favorite · Open Queen's Adam Lambert unafraid of bottling backlash at Sonisphere: bit.ly/wO109m I just saw that this article they link is different than the other one
It's like an introduction that links to the other interview www.nme.com/news/queen/62236Queen's Adam Lambert unafraid of bottling backlash at Sonisphere Queen Tickets Singer speaks exclusively to NME about playing at this year's Knebworth event Adam Lambert has insisted he is unfazed by any potential backlash at his stint fronting Queen. The singer was this week announced to be singing with the band at this year's Sonisphere festival, taking place at Knebworth, taking place July 6-8. But when NME spoke to Lambert in his first interview since the announcement, he admitted to being unfamiliar with UK rock festival traditions such as 'bottling'. "Oh great!" he said when given the lowdown. "Well I'll be sure to wear something that protects my helmet. I wear a helmet onstage, maybe that would be a good fashion statement." But the former American Idol contestant insisted that he is not trying to replace the later Freddie Mercury. He said: "The way I look at it is I’m not trying to imitate or outdo him or compete in any way, that’s not even in my mind at all, I think it's really an honour to be asked to sing the music that he and the band wrote and get up there and put on a good show. If people are too busy trying to compare, they're not going to enjoy the music." Lambert is the second singer to stand in for Mercury since Brian May and Roger Taylor, minus original bass player John Deacon, decided they wanted to tour again. The remaining members played with Paul Rodgers between 2004 and 2009, while George Michael fronted that band at 1992's Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. But although Lambert would not rule out another collaboration in the future, he insisted that for now the Knebworth show is simply a one-off. He continued: "One of the things [people have said] was, 'He's gonna be the permanent frontman of Queen'. And although that would be a beautiful experience, the tricky thing this year for me is I also have my album coming out, 'Trespassing', and that's gonna take a lot of work and time and energy. So it's really a one-off experience with the band, and I'm really excited for it. But I'm not joining the band and touring with them."

Um..looking at some of these latest pictures of Adam, does it seem that he has had some "work" done? Now he has always been beautiful to me but lately his skin is very much improved, with some of the acne scarring much less noticeable. Maybe also some Botox on his forehead? I don't care if he did, good for him and he is looking so ultra hot but he always has to me. It could be because he wearing less make up but I think there is more, just wondered if anyone else had noticed. um...less makeup makes the acne scarring look less noticeable. It's still there. It's something a lot of us discussed when he wore heavy foundation. Less alcohol, means less fluid retention, less puffiness, fewer forehead wrinkles. I really think it's as simple as that. Even his hands look less puffy. Yeah, you are right about the alcohol, he had even said himself that he felt less bloated. Plus he has lost weight, so his face looks even more chiseled. He has the most beautiful features. But I think in some lighting the makeup accentuates the scarring. Whatever, he looks better than he has ever looked. YAY for Top 30 on HAC!!!
