Thanks. I looked on KBIG's website, but I couldn't find where their request info is. I do listen to the station online every day and I follow them on Twitter. I also tried texting, and I did get a response back from them. So, if I can't find the info, I'll just stick with texting and/or tweeting. I post the KBIG info here at least once a day :-/ Text to 31043 Or use their mediabase form mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=KBIG-FMYes, I know you do. I wasn't asking how to request, I was asking which method is most effective. If it doesn't matter, I'll stick to texting and tweeting. Thanks! And I saw your other post -- glad to see KBIG is playing BTIKM. As I said, I never hear it, so wasn't sure how much they are spinning.

Just finished watching the documentary on Queen. Never been a Queen fan. Wasn't interested. But this is brilliantly and sensitively done, and a well spent 2 hours. I totally "get" why Roger and Brian want to do Sonisphere. 1. To again do a huge festival/stadium concert. There cannot be anything to come close to the adrenaline rush, the pure joy, of creating music for a massive live audience and to feel the psychic energy produced and shared. It's been 20 years since Freddie has been gone, and I don't think they have ever felt that electricity again. But, as musicians, of course they want to feel it one more time. It's a most potent narcotic. 2. To be able to pay tribute to Freddie some twenty years after his passing. To make his and their music live again. To affirm life goes on and music is eternal. 3. To have found someone, finally, to front the band who can totally, completely, utterly handle the repertoire of great songs, and who embodies the massive stage presence that Freddie had. Who can perform the songs like they need to be performed. And who gels so comfortably with the band. Truly, it must be a dream come true for them, after many years. I can imagine that, for them, after the EMA performance, to realize that someone can embody the energy and the magic that was Freddie must have been an incredible joy. An experience they never expected to have again in their lives. 4. To have endured seeing your close friend and band member become more and more ill, to know he was dying, and to realize he will never sing like before. To write TSMGO, knowing Freddie will never perform it to it's full potential. Then, twenty years later, to have someone sing it live as you have always envisioned it. And to have it performed by an exceptional artist who was inspired and shaped by Freddie vocally and stylistically. Adam is Freddie's legacy to the music world. Hell, yeah!!! Seize the day! Make it yours! Thank goodness for AI, for their unintentional genius in introducing Adam to Queen. Yes, it is a dream come true for Adam, but, it is also, maybe even more so, a dream come true for Brian and Roger. My secret hope is that they might entice Deacon to join them to recapture and experience that unique magic they shared with Freddie. Forget about the pay check. Forget about the PR. Forget, even, what the Queen fans or the Adam fans want. Roger and Brian deserve this moment. I can't wait. Good morning! Cassie I loved your post. The magnitude of the Adam/Queen performance at Sonisphere keeps growing and I am in awe of Adam's courage and fierce energy to get up on that stage with Queen with so many eyes on him......he's going to kill it!! It will be a historic moment for Queen and Adam and FINALLY after more than 20 years...live Queen music will fill a concert stage again!!!! 8-) I am so envious happy for all Atopians getting to be there to experience the magic of Adam and Queen!! 8-) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAHBARNASH!![/size] Phoenix Animated I love..love your new art and avi! And Toby Knapp is a TOOL!!

and @krisallen, too... all positive, and good stuff and i want their perspective on some things...AmIdol ratings sucked last week (Down 38% from last year) so maybe they will have Kris and Adam do a sing off!! HA! Seriously...is there any other indication Adam will be at Idol next week? I think this may be the 3rd time I am posting this today, but isn't he in Denver on Thursday? They are having a contest to meet him!

I never tire of watching Adam's AI8 videos, always with a smile on my face knowing where it all will lead. The 3 group numbers, especially SO WHAT, are proof that Adam was never meant to be relegated to the chorus. His appearance and his presence are eye-catching. Am I sounding biased? Maybe. By the way, I've never re-revisited any of the other performances from that year, just Adams, so maybe my perspective is a bit skewered in his favor.

Yes, Brian May is a wonderful and very tender hearted and also a very unusual person in many ways with his both mathematical as well as artistic side, with his in many ways ascetic life style in contrast to the full on living he experienced throughout the rock music world and certainly with Freddie. He is a very tolerant man and has remained so humble. I am sure he in many ways loves Adam kind of like a son, even though it probably turns his stomach when he hears that Adam loves a video like NIN - Closer.
That is one thing I have always noted and loved about so many folks in Britain. They value individuality and the Queen documentation video certainly exhibits that in all four of these guys.
ETA: Anybody here ever read Hermann Hesse 's 'Narcissus and Goldmund"? Somehow Brian and Adam totally remind me of that relationship.....so many parallels.

Poking my nose back out of the rabbit hole. Perhaps I've missed someone's post, but I haven't read that anyone saw the BTIKM video on VH1s JumpStart this morning. It was on right after Kelly's 'Stronger' ... I don't think it was the countdown portion, but I only turned it on for a little bit. It was on at 8:15 PST.
Also, FYI, Pharell Williams is going to be the guest judge on next week's 'Project Runway, AllStars' (thursday).
And also a Happy Birthday to SarahBarnash ... have a lovely time with your friends today.

Ha ha, I somehow don't think his stomach is turned by Adam's choice in music videos. You can't value individuality then put limits on it. I learned a long time ago that every person has many different facets and we don't have to like them all. I hated the video, first time I ever saw it was on ATOP, but I remember laughing when I saw the fan video last year with the same song. I remember my stomach churning a little when I saw Adam in his Col Sanders outfit on the Grammy red carpet, but I just kept repeating, "This, too, shall pass," and by darned, it did. It thrilled me to hear Adam question his own judgement on that sartorial choice.

Link: www.mix100.com/This week's Idol show is on at 8:00PM ET (LIVE) -- 5:00PM PT so if Adam was on at 1:00PM in Denver, he could make it. But I agree it makes no sense.
