Question: How important is the VH1 Top 20 tv broadcast? Do young people watch videos on tv or is it mostly older farts folks?

I don't believe that Brain May would ever approve of animal cruelty, no matter how much it is meant to be used in some symbolic context or to support art. None of us have ever met BM, none of us can of course speak for him, but from anything I have ever read about this man, I am pretty sure this is a very safe bet.
The only way Brain can accept Adam's thinking about something like the Closer MV is by using exactly what I said about Brian: This high level of tolerance. How is that limiting his tolerance? I am actually using this as an example to show how far reaching BM's tolerance is.
And when it comes to Adam, I don't think that being a fan requires anyone to leave their brain or heart at the door and blindly accept everything that Adam loves as some kind of new found religion. In fact doing so would be in opposition to what Adam values which is people living their own lives in their own ways and just being accepting of other ways.
This 'being a fan means never dare to say a word against Adam' - interpretation of fandom just does not cut it for me.
There will always be things were I happen to think quite differently than Adam and believe me this music video is only a small sign of such differences. I have no problem occasionally drawing a line and saying that on a certain topic, Adam is on his own, as far as I am concerned.
And even if by coincidence he should read this, I am pretty sure, he sleeps just fine knowing so.
Some folks take this whole thing a tad too seriously.

Question: How important is the VH1 Top 20 tv broadcast? Do young people watch videos on tv or is it mostly older farts folks? As an artists that is so visual, I would say very important for Adam. In previous years, his sales have always had a bounce when the VH1 countdown was shown and he was on it. :( |
