Only four more days until the Leap Day Charity Water push!
[/size] I hope everyone here will donate at least $5. Donate more if you can afford it, but don't hesitate to give if $5 is all you can afford. Remember last year when someone discovered the Charity Water page for Will and Jada Smith? Their donations consisted primarily of HUGE amounts donated by their celebrity friends, yet they didn't raise as much money as Adam's fans did with many small donations. It all adds up. Even if you only feel comfortable giving one dollar, do it! I wish I could afford to offer a challenge in which I would match donations from Adamtopia. I just can't do that. But Imma offer a challenge anyway! When you make your donation, write in the comments section, "Meeting the Adamtopia Leap Day challenge!" The goal of the challenge is to see that phrase repeated over and over again down the entire page by the end of the day! Funny, I completely forgot that AI is on already...until Toby twatted something about seeing Adam there... so....may be Adam will do his new single there? Would another 4-5 weeks be enough for the BTKIM to get into the Top 20? (I don't want a "flop" on our hands either, mys*&@^#r) |

BTIKM needs a few more weeks to make Top 20 on HAC and Top 40 on, well, Top 40! Otherwise, it will be labeled as a flop. I think they've got until mid March to work on this. And it is looking good, right now. I'm also on team "give BTIKM a chance". I'd rather have a fixed, written in stone, date for #Trespassing  BTIKM has a shot at the Top 20 within 2 weeks. That leaves plenty of time for a second single before the album. If they release a Pop track, it could pull BTIKM up the chart -- look at Kelly Clarkson's MKIA. Since the rotations/station are so low for BTIKM, it has no issue with burnout.  That said -- we have no idea what soon is. I think mid-March is the soonest possible date we could see a new single and I think that is not happening -- more likely late March/early April -- so BTIKM has plenty more time. They have not picked the single yet. They announce it soon -- say in 2 weeks. (Who knows what soon is?) Then put everything in place and get it out to stations - 2 weeks That puts it into late-March/early April. ---- Regarding Pop/Top 40 airplay. Now at #59: 63 59 LAMBERT, ADAM Better Than I Know Myself 272 240 32 0.649 Needs to go from 272 spins to around 1,100 spins to entire the Top 40 -- I can't see a path to get there unless a couple I can see a path for HAC -- I am having more trouble seeing the path up the chart for BTIKM On Pop radio unless BTIKM moves into the Top 10 on HAC and crosses over. OR in the unlikely event the put together a killer remix of BTIKM and it is suitable to Pop radio. ---- All I want is for Adam to be all over Pop radio before his album is released. However they get there, with BTIKM or some other single, is good with me. |

I will put this on page 1 tomorrow with a tweetable link -- let's make LEAP DAY the day we LEAP over the target goal!!

NoAngel I found this and thought of you! This dragon looks like it was made of Kale! Does anyone know if SNO resulted in a spin of BTIKM? Wasn't that supposed to be a big deal if it did? The answer to that is - No. There was no SNOL spin last night but the chat was probably a "pay it forward" kind of thing. Also, with BTIKM still far away from top 40 on CHR it would have resulted in a big drop next week. |
