Gonna disagree on "the sooner the better." BTIKM needs a few more weeks to make Top 20 on HAC and Top 40 on, well, Top 40! Otherwise, it will be labeled as a flop. I think they've got until mid March to work on this. And it is looking good, right now. Agree, they will wait for 2-4 weeks, BTIKM still has the potential to go higher. I also believe they have originally planned to release two singles before the album, which now seems to be the case. I reaaaaaalllly would like it to be an Adam-penned song, but not counting on it. Actually, not knowing what the possibilities are, I'd go with Trespassing. I love both the snippet we've heard from the Austria Snowcase and the Aidan McEwan remix.

NoAngelThanks for an especially beautiful essay this morning! That. SNOL video is a gift! Every word, look, glance, voice inflection completely grabs me and pulls me in. The Queen documentary last night talked about how Freddie had an ability to pull people in, even in big stadiums... an ability to connect with people when he performed. Adam has that, too. I feel it even when he is just talking and answering questions in front of a web camera. I really enjoy seeing Adam fly because he takes me there with him. The ride is thrilling, and the minute it is over, I am like a kid saying, "Again! Again!" I haven't caught up yet, but wanted to agree with your comment here Lynne in regards to Adam and Freddie. I found the Queen documentary very interesting and I saw quite a bit of Adam in Freddie, even though I felt we did not really get much input on who Freddie was. Some to be sure, and I feel that same attitude in Adam, wanting to live life to the fullest and embracing all aspects of it, both good and bad. When I was listening to the SNOL interview this morning and the question came up what his life philosophy was I said to myself "live and let live" and that was exactly what he answered. From all that we have seen and heard of Adam, that was my thought as to his personality and life philosophy, so to have him answer exactly that really shows me that because he is so open and honest we really do trespass into his life enough to know him a little bit. Now I'm rambling! Great essay as always NoAngel and a very happy birthday to the birthday ladies today!

I have watched the SNOL video several times and I don't hear the kitchen and laughing sounds quite the same way others have. What I hear and see is all Adam. When Adam says the word "jump" he actually jumps up from the chair and he bumps into the table which rattles something on the table (maybe a tea cup) and it even shakes his computer for a second. The laughter I hear is actually coming from Adam's thoat. He laughs like that another time later in the video. He also bangs on the table later in the video and the dish rattles again. Anyway, this is how I see it. :D There is laughing off camera.

NoAngel
I have always thought Eber's Icarus characterization of his son missed the mark entirely. Adam's own analysis of himself is, of course, spot on. He IS a dragon. A fire-breathing, powerful creature who soars above us all.
This is why this collaboration with Queen-- and especially, Brain May-- is so fitting. May sees it as a chance to fly again. Instead of leaving well enough alone, afraid he will never reach those heights again, he stares right at the challenge and leaps toward it with glee and exhilaration. He wants to dance in the skies again, and who can blame him? Queen has found the perfect dance partner. They are matching musical souls.
These men are ALL dragons-- fierce, fiery, courageous and talented. They can never be satisfied with "good enough." It's in their DNA to soar.
Thank you, NoAngel, for your beautiful insight.

Don't think we are limiting the size of donation by being specific. There should be a minimum donation before the match kicks in to encourage the maximum fund raised. We can match $5, $10, $15, etc for each donation, but the match should not be more than the donation... sort of how this works in most cases since the purpose is to ultimately raise as much $ as possible. I do see the merit in matching the same $$ per donation since we have a small money pool with witch to work. However, I still believe there should be a minimum donation before match begins and that we don't match more than what's donated. ETA: stardust.. like your idea above

Probably a good idea to have a link to Charity Water in the tweet. More people respond when they do not have to search for how to connect.
When we tried to push donations for Valentine's Day someone (I think it was Q3) said it is important that the tweet contain @adamlambert as more people will see it, and the link to Charity Water. Also a hashtag if one wants it to trend.
Hard to fit it all in one tweet. Maybe have 2 tweets that peeps can alternate sending out.
Also everyone should post on any other boards they frequent.
peace&love
