Gotcha back on rjackspf!! Added mahailia to the Sonisphere list!! OK! Here is the currnet updated list of Atopians going to Sonisphere!! There are now 56 going!!!!! Ok! I've scrolled through but didn't see anything. A fellow glambert (not on Atop) emailed something about a damaging photo of Adam. I emailed her back asking what she meant. Haven't heard back. I've been out all afternoon. Anyone know what she means? If I'm rehashing something I shouldn't, let me know. Her email just had me worried but am not seeing any angst anywhere. Haven't heard a thing and I've been on the computer most of the day. Just held my nose and checked TMZ, and nothing. I refuse to go to Perez' site, because I have some standards... Damaging how? Like maybe pictures of him...kissing a guy?  |

I still think if you want the most people to participate, you should not call it an Adamtopia challenge but just a "Leap Day Challenge". You can say Adamtopia will match the Leap Day Challenge goal, but I do think it titling it with the com's name will disincline some potential donors to participate.
One other idea, but feel free to disregard:
It's probably helpful to have the challenge met in partial increments. Therefore if we use the Q3/Hoppers system, someone is going to need to track, and tally up the payout of 1-5$ for each donor, and then poke the matchers to get them to donate. This system encourages small donors, and people who want to split their donations into smaller parts to get matched more heavily.
Another option would be that for every $300 in donations we put a $100 match in (or something like that) up til the maximum. So people donate in aggregate $300, the first person on the Atop list puts in their $100, and so forth throughout the day. Again a little tracking and poking is required.
Whatever system is chosen, will be fine as long as it's simple, but I do caution against calling it an Adamtopia challenge if you intend for the larger fanbase that doesn't already go here to jump in.

Some pictures from Adam's private photobucket account were posted online at some other sites. There is one that would probably not cause fans to bat an eye, but that has potential to offend pearlclutching types. They are around twitter being passed around as new/old pics. We'd like to not have them posted on Atop. We can't control the internet, but at least here we can respect Adam's privacy. Agreed. Good to know it doesn't seem to be a big deal. Hopefully it will stay that way. Thanks for letting me know. I won't pursue it. Hey, you're nobody until someone hacks your Photobucket account, right? |
