I am going to say it one more time and if it is ignored again I will conclude that my idea has met with zero favour. My suggestion is that you offer to match donations by 30% to honour adam's 30th birthday....similar to all the $29 donations that were made last year...up to total of ???...now $4,600. I worded the tweet roughly, to get things started, as:
@adamlambert CharityWater top-up by Adamtopia of 30% for 30'th BD, up to $4,600! label #LeapYearChallenge tinyurl.com/7wms3gw
Wording may need to change but if people tag their donation as #LeapYearChallenge, it will be easy enough to collect the total at the end of the day and work-out/announce totals. This does not discourage any offers and makes a significant difference. Much easier to work out than staggering set amounts, IMHO

Good for him! @shirleyhalperin: Best seats in the house belong to @adamlambert and @katyperry - both at Elton's table and right next to each other. Their management has done a really good job... but their must have paid a lot of money for it... ;D ;D |
