I have a question. IdolNow said that Adam moved from 32 to 27 on Adult Pop. But he's 29 on the chart, so where are they getting this number from? I saw that earlier. They are mistaken and I expect that they are just relaying a number someone gave them. Adam has been #28 on sunday on the HAC chart with monitored station only, but has been #27 on the HAC chart with all stations. There he is ahead of Nickelback. So Idolnow could have referred to this chart. |

RCA does seem very conservative,both in spending money and in releasing singles.I guess they are going for broke, hopefully, with Adam's album ,Trespassing. I wonder how many albums Adam has contracted with RCA.. Interesting to know what his contract reads like.
Will Adam get anything from the sales of the bastard album,which is a bastard no more?

I know you guys were discussing Elie Goulding's 'Lights' song and how it shld be going recurrent and what not...well I am listening to Z online and they JUST played it and called it "new music" and I listen to Z everyday and this is the first time I have heard them do this....so....uhhh what is that all about? Does this bode well then that Z could pick up BTIKM soon(ish) since it's around where Lights is on the charts (isn't it? can't be sure) or does this simply mean that Interscope is throwing the money around.

On that chart he is now #28 and did pass Nickleback. But it does not count. |

Well, the song continues to get good spin increases on HAC.
My Chicago KISS station has just started playing the Ellie Goulding song---so Interscope is getting the job done.

My guess is it is Interscope (the best single promoting label I know) throwing money around. They actually got Mediabase to put her back on the charts after they made it recurrent on the HAC charts because they are trying to get it to cross over to CHR! |

I have more and more respect for Interscope. They are getting their people played. Sometimes RCA really confuses me. I just listened to KA's new song (relevant because it will soon be competeing with BTIKM for spins) and who would have ever thought that Adam would be the one with the lead-off song targeting HAC and KA getting the release sure to be targeting CHR (not a KA fan at all, but his single is incredibly current in that Script-like vein that radio is loving lately). I love BTIKM. I am super glad it's moving on HAC finally. But, they need to market Adam like a popstar. Hopefully the next single, whenever it comes, will do just that. Rant over  |

Rant over I haven't heard the nal song (can't bring myself to listen - incredibly petty) but I've seen others saying it is more HAC and NOT CHR. Since I haven't heard it I shouldn't be responding. :-/ But I WILL be pissed if his RCA promo is stronger, better organized & more timely than Adam's. |
