Shouldn't we have a standard tweet? The phrase in the thread is way more than 140 characters - fine for sites other than twitter. I'm still not sure exactly how we're matching. Is there a finalized explanation somewhere? I don't want to sidetrack this thread. Sorry if I missed an explanation somewhere. Are you talking about this phrase? "Take Adam’s 30th B’day Charity Water over the top on 2/29/12 @adamlambert Leap Day Challenge more info tinyurl.com/WeWillMatchU #WeWillMatchU" It fits fine in Twitter. If you copied and pasted it into the Twitter window, however, it shows up as more characters because whenever you quote something from Adamtopia somewhere else, this automatically gets tacked on to the end of it: "Read more: atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=daily&thread=744&page=1#184216#ixzz1nbAUrWx5" Delete that part and the tweet is 137 characters. |
