Momtomany: I clearly remember you recounting little Penelope's struggle to breathe. I think we were all collectively breathing for her. And now he is celebrating her first birthday! Thanks for sharing with us.
Smokey: I know you were able to say your good-byes to your Mom. I know you were convicted that it was time to let her go, to let her fly free from her ailing body. Still, the loss is overwhelming. We are all embracing you and crying with you and pouring you a cup of soothing herbal tea, and celebrating her life with you and pouring you a stiff drink. Let us know what you need.

My mom is turning 93 and well down the path of Alzheimer's. She is with me but slipping away. My prayers to you in your sorrow and my joy that your mom went peacefully and well loved. |

I am so sorry about your mother. Whenever someone loses their mother, it brings back my mom. Such a huge loss for a daughter. For me, there will always be a little hole in my heart for my dear mom and now for you and your mother. So sorry. I hope we get a chance to meet sometime. We can commiserate. I love talking about my mother, and the memories of your mother and telling people of your shared life really helps to heal the wound. I am thinking about you and sending lovely thoughts your way to speed you through the next several days. |
