I kinda think Hoppers has a less pleasant kind of surprise in store for this vinyl sheet...
*shudders*
And before she threatens me any further I can give my hastily updated spreadsheet summary...
but I hesitate a little cause I'm not sure my numbers quite line up with Q3's, and hers are the master numbers plus, and this is important, have I mentioned I FAIL at excel? So, with those major caveats...
Isaac...can I have a drumroll please...
By my questionable calculations we have inspired roughly
464 donations, for a total of $10,146 (plus Q3's errant 14 and whatever they donated, though I think I may have caught one or two of those). In addition, we have had
27 matching pledges so far for a total of $3,000...Making our grand total from this challenge so far:
$13,146 (again, I think Q3's total may be higher because of her, you know, ability to do math)
AND
we still have, by my count,
$2,500 outstanding in unused matches. So the question is, what do we do with those?
Do we continue the challenge into another day, fully embracing Adam's "ish"? (I've always wanted to embrace Adam's ish, if you know what I mean *wiggles cigar between teeth* *wiggles eyebrows, for good measure*)
Do we save them up for a final push later on?
My personal opinion, which I'm happy to change, is that maybe pledgers are excited to be part of the current push, and we should give'm the payoff--but because donations are clearly slowing, we can go out with a bang promising a one-to-one, $-to-$ match until we've gone through the $2,500, thus inspiring another $2,500 in donations in the process. But what do the rest of you think? Especially those of you with as yet outstanding pledges?
