Fantastic day! WOW! Im dead tired.. almost 3am but quick recap on how this all happend:
Had plans just to go The Russian Lady to meet up with dear friends that had M&G tickets for this! Another friend that I was going to be staying with happened to be notified that she won tickets for the Kiss 95.7 M&G. FLAIL!! There were only about 15 fans there. Mostly casual fans cause no one was on their phone tweeting!
After the Kiss 95.7 we drove the short 4 blocks to the Russian Lady. Our friends already inside so we sat across the street where we could see Adam and Tommy in the 2nd floor window for soundcheck. They both turned around at us and waved. Funny and cute
Few minutes later employees are waving at us. Ok...then we were motioned to go to door and to come up. OMG!!!
More fans were inside the bar area (around 10) and the management let us all in! I was told the bar owner saw us and wanted us included.
KISS-fest with Adam Lambert! Radio concert lineup unveiled By Jed Gottlieb | Thursday, March 15, 2012 | www.bostonherald.com | Local Coverage

“American Idol” hopeful-turned-superstar Adam Lambert thrilled 50 lucky fans yesterday at a swanky, invite-only event at the W Boston Hotel.
In town for the unveiling of the 2012 KISS Concert lineup (May 19 at the Comcast Center), Lambert performed two songs — new single “Better Than I Know Myself” and title track “Trespassing” — and sat down with the Herald to chat.
“I love Boston, I really do. It’s so chill, everyone’s so laid-back here,” he said.
He promised to return once second disc “Trespassing” is released later this year.
“I’ve been working on it for over a year and the songs that made the cut are all unbelievable,” he said.
Before the performance in front of the cheering crowd, Matt Siegel of Matty in the Morning revealed the impressive list of artists for the May show. The headliners include Lambert, Flo Rida, Gym Class Heroes and Enrique Iglesias. Local rising stars on the bill are Karmin, Sammy Adams and JoJo — who also performed at yesterday’s event.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, Lambert doesn’t have a favorite on this season of “Idol.”
“I’ve been so busy, I haven’t been watching any TV,” he said.
I sat down with Adam Lambert at the W Hotel in Boston today to talk fashion and get the scoop on the amazing coat he wears in his latest video. He was in town for the Kiss Concert '12 line-up announcement party. Click here for info. on Kiss Concert '12. D: We see a toned down version of you in your new video for "Better Than I Know Myself" is that a hint of what's to come for your style in 2012? A: I don't know. I'm kind of a fly by the seat of my pants kind of guy. I've definitely noticed that I've been more drawn to things I'd wear on the street, more practical wardrobe for my performances now. The last album was very costume and this time it is more fashion forward. D: What designers do you love right now and want to work with? A: I love, love, love Gareth Pugh! His stuff is so structured, and angular, and geometric. There's something so retro seventies and club-kid about it but also so futuristic too. I love that fusion. Gareth Pugh is an English fashion designer who lives and works in Paris. He got his start in fashion design at the age of 14! That's when he began designing costumes for the English National Youth Theatre. Click here for his official web-site.
I am besotted with the London performance of Trespassing. Can't stop watching/listening. There is so much wonderful-ness in that performance.
First off, it's aural and visual sex! DAMN!! You know how I love me some Adam ballads, but, my Lawd, that is hawt, and vocally, so impressive. He just explodes --- and that is just watching the computer. For me, that is more satisfying to watch and listen to than an XXX rated porn movie. (Okay, maybe that was a little too much information. Sorry. And, I admit, I haven't watched any XXX porn movies, but I can imagine.)
Vocally, tho', this one blows my mind in a new direction. His voice is so percussive. He maintains the drive, the beat, the funk with his vocals alone. Yes, we have the minimal backing, but most of it originates with HIM. At first I thought this was such a contrast to his usual lyrical lines and extended phrases. But, upon repeated listening, he IS actually maintaining the lyrical line and phrase, connecting the notes. It is just that he attacks the individual notes so hard it is deceptive.
His articulation is also stellar. I understand every word as it whizzes by. Most pop singers have trouble even articulating clearly in slower numbers and ballads; rapid lyrics are pretty much incomprehensible mumbles. Not Adam. He uses the consonants as percussion instruments.
And then, there is the melody. It moves so rapidly with such staccato that he has to hit those notes squarely on, with no time to adjust. Like rapidly firing a gun at a moving target. Still, he manages to imbue the notes with that warm resonance. I am thinking this song, so fun and defiant, so infectious and quick, is actually quite a challenge to sing.
His album is going to be such a sonic treat!
Back to watch it one more time.

I went to the WXLO promo in Milford, MA on the 14th. .. first meet and greet. I do have a few thoughts to share… one at a time.
Number #1… has been hashed over before but:
In front of us in line were 5 delightful, college aged fan girls. They were so much fun. They had stories of 3 Idol concerts, 5 GNT, and Meet and Greets. Then behind us were a mother and teenage daughter. Both groups (fore and aft) had already been to a “meet and greet” that day!!! images.proboards.com/new/shocked.gif
[/img]I didn’t know what to think…was that fair or unfair…bad or good?
Then after my “meet and greet” I understood.
Did I actually think "shy" me would get to thank Adam for everything, or get to ask him a question? They had to hurry. Adam and crew wanted to get going to New York. At first they told us that he might not have time for the “meet and picture” It was “Hi, picture, bye.”
It was like they threw us the most wonderful delicious meal in the world, but we got less then a crumb. Of course, that tiny bit of Adam was delectable for me. I felt his arm envelop me, I notice how close I was.. staring at his face, and I was so stupidly giddy …see new avi. . Now I do understand why we all want more and more. So many of his fans work so hard calling stations, spending hard earned money, traveling, and having friends help them. I don’t know how you would decide who needs, deserves, or warrants more "meet and greets". I know I will try again and as others have stated Adam loves seeing everyone, new and old. You feel so accepted in his presence. It is sooo worth the effort. ILHSM [/blockquote]
Arts Adam Lambert at PinZ Singer Adam Lambert thrilled a small crowd at an invitation-only acoustic event at PinZ, performing his biggest hit, and answering questions. By Mary MacDonald Email the author 5:00 am

A relaxed, good-humored Adam Lambert answered questions, met some of his fans and performed two songs in an acoustic show Wednesday at PinZ, including his hit "Whataya Want From Me?"
Lambert, who was the runner-up in the American Idol competition of 2009, and who many felt should have won, is promoting a new album. His appearance in Milford was arranged by the Worcester radio station WXLO, as part of its Music Loft on the Road series, said Bob Goodell, director of sales.
"It's a lot more exciting to bring out an artist like this to a small town, where it really creates a buzz."
The concert was invitation-only for 100 people. Most tickets were given away by the radio station to callers who phoned in at the right times. Some were distributed by PinZ. And some were given to donors of the Lupus Foundation of New England. One woman donated $1,000 to the Lupus Foundation, for the chance to see Lambert in a small venue, Goodell said.
Marilyn Saucier of Worcester was among the lucky 100. She won a pair of tickets after calling the radio station over and over again, until finally, she was the 14th caller. "I was trying for days and days," said Saucier, 52, who brought her friend Gennie along with her.
Both women became Lambert fans during American Idol, when many Americans thought he should have been named the winner. Instead, he was voted the runner-up, but went on to a more celebrated solo career than the winner.
Flamboyant and edgy singer Adam Lambert of “American Idol” fame ratcheted it down last night, offering a low-key acoustic set for 100 lucky fans at Pinz.
Mere feet lay between Lambert and the crowd as he performed hit single “What Do You Want From Me?” and Better Than I Know Myself,” the new single from his most recent album, “Trespassing.” Delighted fans also got to ask him questions during the show, which was followed by a meet-and-greet.
Lambert said he loves performing small shows.
“Twitter is a great way to connect with people, but it’s not human,” Lambert said. “I really love to see and talk to people, at least those not looking through their cameras.”
Fans had won tickets to the private show through Facebook and Twitter contests or at wxlo.com. Radio station WXLO also held on-air giveaways throughout the week.
Erin Sias of Bellingham got her tickets through Pinz’s Facebook page by writing a poem giving reasons why she should win. She brought along her daughter, Bree Peck, a high-schooler who is also a big Lambert fan. Maureen Gainley of Burlington received her tickets — meant for her daughter Marlea, a big Lambert fan — after being the 14th caller to WXLO.
Jodie Miller of West Boylston brought her friend Debbie Merriam of Shrewsbury.
“I’m the big ‘American Idol’ fan,” Merriam said. “I voted for him on the show and haven’t voted since he lost.” WXLO also gave tickets to the Lupus Foundation of New England, and donors of $250 or more received tickets to the show.
Beverly Goodell, the director of events at the foundation, said Lambert made an invaluable contribution to the foundation without even knowing, raising more than $2,000.
Tracy Holland of Worcester donated well over the asking price to see her favorite musician. Holland was persistent — radio host Stephen Donovan of “The Jen and Steve Morning Show” said Holland called about 14 times a day.
Holland created a T-shirt for Lambert featuring an acrostic poem of his first name.
“I should have done his last name, too,” she said. “It would have been, ‘lovely and mesmerizing, being ever-so-reverent to all.’ ”
The show was organized by WLXO as a part of its Music Loft series and to help Lambert promote his new album. Bob Goodell, director of sales at WXLO, said he chose Pinz for its location and small-town feel.
“We have a lot of listeners in MetroWest,” he said. “We’re looking to create some excitement in a small town.”
Pinz co-owner Elaine Breen, a big American Idol fan, said she was ecstatic that WXLO chose her business for the show.
“Its fabulous having him in the town of Milford,” she said, “He’s a major rock star.”
Lambert said he has no plans to tour yet, but he will be performing a few shows this summer as Queen’s front man.
His local fans were aglow with his visit.
Poet Sias said, “We had a really good time, up close and personal.’’

He takes a dig at people who watch gigs through their cameras
Every gig you go to, there are fans on tip toes and jostling with other fans to capture the perfect picture with their phones or cameras. However, do they miss the best parts of the show by focusing on this instead of the music and the spectacle?
Adam Lambert has taken a dig at concert goers who watch the entire show behind a camera screen. He played an intimate acoustic gig in Massachusetts in the US last night for 100 competition winners. And even though he praised small venues, where intimacy and humanity is at the forefront, he also pointed out that he wanted to see "people".
The Milford Daily News reported that he told the crowd "Twitter is a great way to connect with people, but it's not human. I really love to see and talk to people, at least those not looking through their cameras."

ADAM LAMBERT PERFORMS EXCLUSIVE SET FOR 100 FANS
Around 100 lucky people got to see Adam Lambert live in a very relaxed setting on Wednesday night – Adam performed two songs in Worcester sponsored by PinZ and WXLO.
Adam answered questions about his favorite designer (Skingraft – whose leather jacket he wore on Wednesday), whether he likes Twitter (he does: @adamlambert), his favorite toothbrush color (neon green), and whether he likes pens.
The pen question made him laugh. “Yeah,” he said, after a pause. And what color? “I’m really feeling yellow right now.”
Watch Adam perform ‘BTIKM’ below – check out the cute smile at the beginning of the video!
He however took a stab at gig-goers who tend to watch most of the show through their camera screens.
