Love the B&W pics! The hair is amazing. Adam is looking more gorgeous (and younger) than ever! I said this over on the numbers thread, but I will repeat it here---he sells himself SO well at these radio events. And they are so important. There are still so many misconceptions out there about Adam. But he is winning over these radio people with his charm and "realness" (and voice). This is why I wish RCA would somehow get him promo with key stations in the Midwest. I think it would really help. ITA. If all of this promo doesn't mean adds or plays for BTIKM, he could be paying it forward for the new dancey song that will be the next single! Isn't Adam doing a radio show in Kansas City?

purplelady...WELCOME!! I'm so very jealous! Haha! I stressed over trying to win M&G's to four of my local radio stations in the East and failed. Why or why didn't one of them say "c'mon down" like your lovely station? LOL! Lucky, lucky girl!! savvy...how sweet (and funny) of your ex-husband. It's nice to hear of divorced couples remaining friendly. What are the guesses about that "huge surprise"? Is this a station which hasn't announced an Adam visit? (sorry, but I'm totally lost with this round of promo). Could they just be offering a chance to meet him? house cleaning....I'm proud of myself today....just hand-cleaned my crystal chandelier - I usually do the spray and drip method but not today. Washed, polished, and rehung each individual crystal. YAY! *pats self on back* ;D Hey durberville You mean I'm supposed to clean my crystal chandelier... LOL....never thought about it! .It's only been 25 years since I moved in. The tornado blew out the dining room windows and splattered the walls with glass and dirt, but the chandelier wasn't touched. Maybe I should show it a little love and dust it. Misha needacoke Good to know about listening online vs a real radio. I doubt if I can pick up the station way over hear on my radio. And needacoke should you win at both stations, I expect to be your guest at either/or. j/s Hmmm if I should win at both stations, I could make some money on this. hehe As for that chandelier, surely the tornado blew all the dust off it. Forget dusting and keep working those Atlanta radio contests!

As a whole, men aren't very observant. Mine thinks I cleaned the whole house if he sees vacuum marks. I vacuum the main areas several times a week. [looks puzzled] [speaks carefully and slowly] Hoouse----wooork ? What is this word of which you all speak??!! ??? ??? ;D

[sighs, and thinks about the disaster of half-finished kiddy artwork, random shoes, and cat toys which adorn the front hallway] Actually WASHING laundry is easy. Folding, hanging up, and putting away takes all the time, particularly when the kid and the bigger kid get so much gunk on their clothes that they seemingly require 3 changes of clothes a day. BTW - if the makers of Crayola haven't gotten a Nobel prize in freaking chemistry, they should as clothes can be COATED in their products....and they will still come out clean at the end of a standard warm-water wash cycle.

Hope I'm doing this right! I am de-lurking....I just had the most amazing, unexpected experience this morning! I got to meet him IN PERSON in Dallas!! I knew he was going to be in town-figured you needed tickets for radio promo. Heard on 106.1 to just come down so I did and there was only one other women waiting there....she said they were going to let us in in a few minutes. I did not think it was real. Anyway, they let us in and there were maybe 12 of us just sitting on a couch for 45 minutes. He was RIGHT THERE!!! Just he and Kevin-he sang BTIKM and OOL. Sounded great. They did the interview-too much focus on the "gay thing" and the "Finland Incident" IMO. After, we got to line up and they gave us pics for him to sign. Very intimate setting. I have pics on my phone-they did not let us video singing. No clue how to get stuff from phone to here. My backstory-got drawn in during Idol along with my daughter who is almost 14 now. We saw him on the Idol tour in Dallas and then Glamnation in Dallas. Fell down the rabbit hole after Glamnation. BTW-his hair looks fab-shorter, blond on top a little bit. Anyway, I want to thank others who went alone to things-concerts, radio events. It gave me the courage to go and it paid off......YAY! If someone had told me at 8am this morning that I would meet him today I would have thought they were CRAZY. I just decided to go alone and boy, it paid off! and on meeting Adam.

hehe cassie....now I feel guilty for pulling the thread off topic with my chandelier talk. But must admit I'm still on a high from how gorgeous it now looks! It sparkles! :D
Yes, very time consuming and you have to be systematic and orderly or you'll have no idea where each crystal goes back...but worth it! A dull film builds up over time which no amount of dusting will remove. (winks at bamafan) QueenAL....THAT's interesting, they WOULD be pretty!
okay, sorry mods.......ADAM, ADAM....ADAM!
