I am surprised. I thought some would have talked with each other about Adam. Interesting pic. This is really interesting I think...if it were my research interest, this picture would make a really compelling argument for the 'disconnect' between people and their utter preference for virtual communication over face-to-face....and for the fact that this is not just a 'youth' phenomenon! What does that say about us? And that pic is taken of a small homogenous group of people with a strong common interest! It's either that or the human need either to inform their not-so-fortunate friends what was going on OR to give them a gleeful neener neener. |

Last year I went to an Adam party in Dallas (birthday) and a number of the people, including one I recognize in this picture, spent the whole evening tweeting. It sort of defeated the purpose of getting to know each other ... Then again, that begs the question of what WAS the purpose? To some it was to tweet for their "public." That is their community, not the people they might have a chance to get to know in the room. |

That's because I have had bad experience with some people whose one and only interest was their look. Obviously I misunderstood your sense of humour.
