I would have expected them to lower it. There's even a capo on the first fret of the guitar, meaning they made a conscious decision to raise it. But why? He isn't struggling with the low notes, but at 3:12 he falls flat going for the high notes. Odd! |

It's fabulous to see the growing musical connection between Adam and Kevin!! WOW. I agree. I really like Kevin. He seems "awake" and in the moment with Adam. He listens to Adam when he´s interviewed, he smiles and nodds his head. This is something I don´t get from TJR who seems occupied in his own head. I´m sure he´s a great guy, but this is just a feeling I get and it´s probably just bullshit anyhow. Carry on!  Funny you say that as isn't that exactly what I/we were talking of re the pic of peeps texting in the room....even if they were also 'talking' they could not possibly be THERE, in the moment.....IDK... That being said, as the likelihood of Adam doing any promo in Canada [the west at least] is rather remote :-/  , I really appreciate all you multi taskers : :   eta---we need promo too.....he is taking we Canucks for granted...;( |

Kevin seems lighter and more melodic. Does that make sense? I know nothing about playing instruments. ETA: This is a morning performance!!! This man blows me away, time after time!! Okay, I thought I was bored with these acoustic versions of BTIKM. But this. Is. Exceptional. Adam's interpretations again surprised and delighted me. His voice just rings and soars and trills and croons-- and yet manages to reveal the emotional core of the song. This is my new favorite. Until the next one comes along. |
