I have always thought that Adam Lambert should have been the winner of American Idol instead of Kris Allen (no offense meant to Kris Allen’s legion of fans). Adam Lambert’s performances, albeit theatrical at times, displayed his amazing artistry and deadly vocal range. I still remember making a claim back then that in terms of commercial success, Adam would win over Kris despite finishing first runner-up. Whatever. Let us just roll into what this post is really about. Better Than I Know Myself may well remind the listener of another Lambert single which goes by the title of Whataya Want From Me. As expected, Adam proudly shows off his insanely amazing vocal range. The vocal olympics performed by Lambert do not go over-the-top which does not diminish the aesthetic value of the track. Insanely amazing just like: Whataya Want From Me Definitely better than: Time For Miracles Date Released: December 20, 2011 Label: 19/RCA Rating 4.5 stars more..

From the popjustice article - This still makes me chuckle.  I think he was also quite prophetic in his review with the UK team ditching BTIKM. Here's hoping he was right that Cuckoo comes next. Although he had heard that Bruno Mars track even before it was reworked and thought it was a potential single so... |
