I just watched that Kid Kraddick interview.
Put me down in the weird group. I thought it was hilarious and KK really liked him. Asked some interesting questions.. maybe went a little too long w the bad accent but it didn't bother me.
Adam was relaxed, having fun. I could see he was humoring them at a few points and that made me lol.
The dj's were really into him.. so they got carried away. The Finnish thing was played for laughs, nothing else..
and his vocal was amazing. KK commented on that as well. At the end he said something like-- we've always supported you here.
So for Adam-- mission accomplished.

I thought the KiddK interview was funny ??? Me too. I have to take up for Kidd for just a minute. I regularly listen to his show, they're good people. His show is a talk show that is syndicated to over 50 stations across the US, some of whom DO play Adam, even though the home station in Dallas does not. I'm sure that's why Adam and his management went on his show. Kidd has always been very complimentary to Adam, for 3 years now. Kidd also has no control over what is played at KISS, he's even made derogatory comments about the lack of diversity in current pop music and the music on his own home station. And as far as I know, Adam didn't stick around to meet with the music staff at KISS (the music director there is the afternoon drive guy). He spent most of his day here yesterday schmoozing with the other stations who do play him. |
