I'd be a little less bitter if I'd ever managed a M&G - they weren't offered for any of my GNL concerts and I totally failed with my area radio promo   .... If she was notified of all three wins on the same day, I'll cut her some slack, but I still think if would have been better karma to let a new fan experience La Lambert....or at least an old fan who has never met him....but whatever. My version: Share, dammit.  |

Listened to the Kid Kraddick again, and Adam has learned to recognize the Swedish accent and Finnish accent from each other. Nice. Sad to say, a commentary on my craziness is as soon as Kid started speaking, I thought, that's Swedish, not Finnish. A year ago I would not have had a clue what Finnish sounded like. Now I'm one of the weirdos who listens to Sauli and Katri talk and laugh while never understanding a word of their exchange. We do/learn strange things in this fandom. |

I don't know how this girl was fortunate enough to win 3 times, sounds a little suspicious, but I'd be shocked if anyone said, "No thank you, let someone else go," unless it was someone they knew. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. If said person was embarrassed by her abundant riches, I would think she would just sit a little closer to the back, wear a wig, say she was one of a set of triplets To me, no different from going to 10 GNT concerts and trying to get to front row - only better and luckier. But, here's the thing: I'd be perfectly HAPPY with one M&G. I can honestly say that if I went to one, and someone offered me a ticket to two more, I'd politely refuse. Yes, I would. I'd be too damned embarrassed to show up again at the next radio studio. IMHO, and all that... I mean, if I showed up at M&Gs three times in two days, Adam would think I had no life. And he'd be right. But I don't want him to actually think that. I have no idea what I'd do about the 3 M & Gs but I have to say I laughed out loud at what Adam would think. Damn him. He knows us all to well. Actually, he probably doesn't realized how far down the rabbit hole some of us seemingly productive, sane people have fallen. Would it amaze or frighten him? We'll have to find a way to ask some day. |
