Delurking finally to thank you dedicated Atoppers for the birthday wishes and yummy cakes. After 3 years on several different fan sites, Atop has become my #1 go to place and I spend HOURS here every day! My computer savvy is not something I can brag about so I'd rather read than post. But I do whack, vote, request daily per your instructions . Never in my life did I think that I could fall so head over heels in love with such an awesome man. Adam has completely rocked my world and he has a fan for life in me. Thank you all for providing me with so much info and entertainment as we all follow our bliss. Welcome vikkisusanne!! Now that you have delurked, post more often!!

Hi Vickisusanne, Welcome fellow Milwaukeean! I saw many of the same shows as you--Mystic, Milwaukee, Rockford, and Idol tour in Milwaukee. It was interesting being such a huge Adam fan with Gokey being the big thing by us, hey? Did you notice that Radio Now 97.3 has played and still plays WWFM quite a bit? Please join me in requesting BTIKM and maybe we can get it started in the midwest!

The UK tickets are pricey too. Around $800 (US) for VIP tickets. The top ticket packages are $6K. Someone said the top priced Moscow tickets are guaranteed front row. Ummmmmmmmm perhaps I should go to Moscow!!!!!

They hit the ball and it takes off like normal, but then at the last second explodes and just goes into another dimension, right? Well, I think there are three singers that I have heard that I think have that thing, that jetpack quality to their voice that just lets it take off. And they are?OK, ya ready? Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Adam Lambert. Wow, you put Adam Lambert in some pretty good company!Have you seen the clip on YouTube of him singing with Queen, in that MTV clip from Belfast? Look it up. He hits overdrive and you may not believe it. What he does is amazing. Top three! I am not kidding. That kid is something else. He's real. I still don't get what "overdrive" is. Could one of you vocal experts explain it very simply? Whatever it is, I think it is amazing that Adam has it, LOL. ;D I love that EMA clip...need to go watch it again.

Peeps are saying on Twitter that the whole band will be at the Atlanta events. Is that right?
Both of the venues seem pretty nice - Buckhead Theater and W Hotel. Neither of them are at the radio stations, I don't think.

Thanks for all your warm welcome messages!!! I will post now and then but I don't know how to do the "tricks" like quote boxes, links, blingee stuff,.... Maybe when my son is on spring break he can teach me a few tricks ??? A little background about me before I return to page 3 to catch up... I discovered Adam in 2009 when coworkers mentioned that a local Milwaukee boy (who shall remain nameless) was on Idol. So I tuned in to a show I had only vaguely followed before and my life changed forever!!! I saw Adam live on the Idol tour, moved heaven and earth to get to NYC for Rock My Town, went to 6 GN concerts (Mystic, Milwaukee, Philly, Rockford, Peoria, Puyallup). My family and friends indulge me but none are over the moon like I am. I just love everything that Adam stands for and I am as proud of him as I am of my own boys, 1 straight, 1 gay. I know Adam didn't sign on to be an advocate but the way he has gracefully taken on this mantle is just one more facet of his amazing character. Hugs to all of you, back to page 3 with me now. there is actually a practice thread you can try out some of the message functions. atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=announcement&action=post&thread=43&page=20

I don't think Meatloaf is actually talking about that "overdrive" term like others think. I think this is Meatloaf's way of saying that in the Vocal Olympics Adam is our Michael Phelps. I think he's just saying that Adam, like Whitney and Aretha, is in a whole other league compared to others out there.
