Loved those Houston videos from today. So much fun. And I think it was great that this audience was not just passive. Adam looked like he loved it too. Feel bad for these folks that were there and now find themselves being targeted on twitter. Twitter can be sometimes so cruel.

Re: German interview: I am getting on it with translation now and will bring you all those parts where either Adam does not speak or the English is overshadowed by the translator. But it will take me a moment to get done. Just wanted to let other German speakers here know that its already covered.

Also: The Headline says: Adam Lambert - die Zweite

The word 'die' is in this case important. Because in English, if you translate: Adam Lambert, the second (which is correct), it sounds as if there should be some person called Adam Lambert I and now we have Adam Lambert II. That mix-up does not happen in German. It is clear that die Zweite refers to something else, not him as a person. It refers to the the second album - Trespassing in this case.

This is a huge win for Adam to get a dpa interview. First of all, all other media copy from dpa (deutsche presse agentur). It kind of functions like reuters here in US. What dpa takes on gets multiplied into all mainstream media and reported by many of them.

Secondly, this is Adam's 'in' with the German mainstream media, away from just Bravo and Teeny magazines like that. The already mention Suedeutsche Zeitung and Stern. That is comparable in US to let's say Washington Post and US News...or something similar. It is is the first time that the existence of Adam Lambert has reached the whole mainstream German press (outside a few isolated reports around AMA, and the gay topic, but not much). Even the Grammy nomination I did not see covered in the mainstream press. Probably was mentioned in those music journals that do comprehensive reporting on nominations, but it did not receive attention.

So, this is a big step up. The video is accurate and quite reasonable. Nothing new, but it is important that this video is done right, because now, everybody going forward is going to use this as a first reference point. Has a few references to "gay" topic, but overall ok.
