juniemoon Thank you for the recap. You and your sister are so lucky to be there. He's so gorgeous, relax and very funny. I love when he pretended craying coz he missed his kale juice.. lol.. btw.. I love Kale.. and since i'm still too lazy to juice it.. I sautee it.. delicious. Question, do Kale taste any better than Spinach greens, or just regular Collard, Turnip or Mustard greens? I know they're probably better for you but.. I've been thinking about if I should buy any or not.. I think it tastes better than Spinach and Collard.. I like it a lot and Kale doesn't go mushy like Spinach .. try it you'll love it. |

Do....mix purple and green kale with some onions and mushrooms...maybe tomatoes...sautee...num num...kale has so much more body than spinach...sorry mods...had to be polite and answer, youknow..... :-/  Ohh..this sound yummy. Kale is an "official" AFL food so posting about it is OK.  okay...does anyone have success with kale "chips"?? What oven temp and for how long?? also to relate this to Adam....I bought some coconut water today. Dear Lord and all that is Holy! What a disgusting substance! A mouthful of phlegm-like bits. Still shuddering..... HAHA sounds like my reaction to the time I thought OKRA sounded exotic....just followed directions....OMG...more vile I cannot imagine...Canuck style is not good. eta...Christmassed with Arkansas friends and they do it MUCH better!! hehe eta2.....I vote for zebra silver pants for sure.....don't care what with... |

Still shuddering..... I never had bits in the coconut water I have had (unless it was straight out of a coconut). I like it as a much less sweet alternative to sports drink when I am dehydrated. Having looked at a few recipes for Kale chips before they seem to vary a lot on the temps they use. However most of them are along the lines of sprinkle some oil, put them in the oven and wait for them to be crispy. If you keep a close eye on them it probably doesn't matter what temp you choose. |

Do we have a thread for AI this season? The singers are really good this season....much better than 9 and 10 so it is fun to watch again...so far, at least! If I were American I might actually vote which is something I was rarely tempted to want to do last year, and never the year before....:-)
