I really love it, but.....the band mix isn't as good so far. I'm glad they're doing these private performances. It gives them time and experience to work out the kinks. And I really really want to hear the breakdown!! grrr!! Marie, I think it's the sound in this venue, not the band. Someone said Adam wasn't happy with the sound there. You can tell there's no reverb or anything. Hmm, yeah good point. But I think they were just having problems. I saw that Kevin was having issues with his guitar, and the end and out of the breakdown didn't transition as smooth. I think they were trying to work around the venue sound issues/problems. But I LOVE THE SONG!!!!!! Dancing my butt in my chair!!! |

Ooooh...That's good! I've been side-eyeing Dr. Luke lately!  I really hope Adam doesn't have to many tracks by Dr. Luke. Popular producer notwithstanding he makes every track he produces sound similar to Kesha's and also gives a robotic feel most of the time. |

Cuckoo sounds great and has the potential to be a really good "sing along at the concert" song -- where everyone shouts out "cuckoo" during the chorus--ha!
I think the sound issues have to do with the space -- most hotel ballroom type spaces have sub-par acoustics for performances, and this sounds like many I have heard. Sound wasn't great, but Adam looks and sounds terrific! I can't wait to see this one performed live (please let this be performed on the NewNowNext Awards!!!).
