3 singles would be great. And 4 would be amazing and I do think that is posssible! Even Adele only got 4! Only got 4 so far, haha. And I think that's only because her songs are racing up, and staying on the charts for so long, that they don't need to put out another one.

Ok, I've been thinking about album delays and I guess one good thing about the delay is that Adam will still have a chance at opening at #1 for the week. Isn't Adele still pulling in about 200,000 each week? I don't think he'll be able to come close to that, based on what the market is like right now. Trying to make lemonade out of lemons--sick of waiting! Ha. Yes, this is what I was thinking earlier too. She had slowed down to doing about 100,000 a week, but since the Grammys came around, she has been doing 200,000 steadily since. I think it's really good because, even though a lot of this promo probably have already been lined up a while ago, but with where BTIKM is positioned on the radio charts, and with not that much promo set up around release, I don't think that he would have been able to put up impressive numbers, if they kept it to the March 20th release date. Also I hope that his album comes out at the end of April/beginning of May, and that they have a lot of promo surrounding that, as well as have the Idol appearance in there, around album release week. I hope as well, that the next single comes out around the beginning of April, to give it some time before album release, and maybe so he can sing it at the NNN awards. But I really do wish that they will push it for it to get at least top 20. With the updates that it's getting, and the people that are falling above him, he really has a good chance of getting there, at least top 20-22 on HAC chart within the next few weeks. I think that maybe RCA will stick with BTIKM until it peaks in the Top 20 on HAC, and/or when he finished with the radio promo, which I think is at the end of March. Just thinking aloud...

So, according to Brad Walsh, the BTIKM remix is not the official one but a version he was working on? I'm not a huge fan of remixes, but if Brad Walsh does one, I always listen. He is masterful. I went away from watching the vids of the new songs with a feeling like I had been trying to put a puzzle together but many of the important pieces were missing. So, for me, I'm going to tough it out and wait until the CD is released to really feel these songs. Since Adam has specified so many times that Trespassing, etc. are funk, synth, electronica..I am going to wait to give them a clean listen. He talked about wanting people to get the full effect of the layering they had worked so hard on. So, actually, I was quite surprised he would introduce 3 singles at a gig with no professional videographer. (No offense to the vids that were taken ). For being such a perfectionist, that quite shocked me that he would bring the 'Trifecta' to light this way. Guess he's just an excited guy..and he has to wait for logistics now. I feel his pain. Oh, but seeing him dance again..thank all the stars that Adam bought new shoes and left the medges at home. Loved seeing him dance and really getting into his new music. Another weird thing and I'll shut up. Media sources are now reviewing these videos. Adam has been so particular and the media gets fan vids. Bless the fans who did take vids..this is not about you. I just don't get this whole thing. Confused, that's all.

It is so weird that Madonna can have to guys kissing on her video, but Adam cannot do a music video as having a guy playing his boyfriend or love in one.
FYI: don't like that Madonna MV it's too calculated to my taste

Not only is Adele killing it week after week, but One Direction is releasing on 3/20/12. And the amount of publicity these kids are getting is insane. They are everywhere, so my suspicion is that Adam would again have ended up in slot #3 at that date. Anyhow, it is water under the bridge, we do not have to worry about that anymore.
Now the question just becomes, who will he have to contend with, once that date is finally set? Does anyone know where to look up the major album releases planned for April and May?

NoAngel, that's the big mystery for me too. The only thing I came up with, in my mind, is that they were hoping conservative areas and conservative stations would do a turn around on their attitude about Adam from the FYE era. I think that worked because the areas that were early adders have been some of the most conservative in the country. Rihannsu I understand your point about BTIKM being a good way to introduce the light and dark concept of the album, but IMO, the best PR for the album would have been a Top 10 CHR hit. The air play in conservative areas is certainly true in my town. I think they added it before the 2nd week and they've played it pretty consistently on the HAC station. Even our POP added it and is playing. If anything the play has picked up the last week on the HAC, I heard it twice on Thurs while in my car and then again on Friday and I'm hardly ever in my car. I did switch over my autotune settings to "Talkshow" instead of "Pop" and I get a bit richer sound instead of so much of the tamborine.

Just a reminder, please request BTIKM -- focus on your HAC station. It only needs about 12 more spins a day to get into the Top 20. With 55 monitored HAC stations in the US playing it, that should be a piece-of-cake for us to do.
And it will really help Single #2 if BTIKM is a top 20 song.

I do hope that not every song on Trespassing will be about relationships (both past & present)... So far we have:
Chokehold: old bad relationship
Trespassing: Adam's relationship with the world and/or the business industry
BTIKM: pure relationship song, apologize thingy
Cuckoo: party song
OOL: very different from the rest and my favorite.
