Adam's video. #5 in UK. Shows just how huge Adam's visual appeal is. Why his AI vids were always runaway sellers on iTunes. Why so many people who see him on TV or perform live on stage become his slaves for life. ETA: Thanks, NoAngel. Poor guy. Stung by a horde of angry Glamberts. AGREE... His Live performance is not only visually amazing but also vocally out of this world .. LOL.. I guess when he goes on tour again there should be a warning... "Enjoy Adam's Live Performance at Your Own Risk to be his Slaves for Live" ;D ;D ;D ;D .. there're millions of proof out there, around the world... us, his fans..

Thanks for that post, NoAngel to clarify things. You are a great representative to explain that Glamberts aren't dangerous, just passionate. ;D I do disagree with him, though, about the hotel being disclosed. I can't recall if I've ever seen that. Maybe it is a DC thing? And what he said about other fans getting to see him because of that, just kind of proved the point, right? Yeah, exactly. He said it was not uncommon practice but I'm not familiar enough with celeb press to know.

So there ya go. My take-- the celeb game is a business like any other. I'm sure Adam's club appearance was a paid venture, and getting seen/papped is part and parcel of it. Goes with the territory, and Adam (and we) are mostly lucky that he's a hoopla magnet and people care enough to put him in the gossip rags. As we know to our sorrow, Adam can stay under the radar and out of sight when he wants to. Last night wasn't one of those times. If it was the paid venture, which I believe as well, who determines the next: 1. who he goes with 2. if he's allowed to get waisted or not 3. the type of appearance (he played his music, right) 4. and to my utter horror, what he will serve the photographers with. I mean, did he make out w/ Sauli because he was paid to do so, to get photographed like that ? I linked him to my post and he says that the GM told him it was not a paid appearance. Eh, who knows.

This did not feel like a paid appearance to me and I certainly don't think he would ever make out with Sauli just for the publicity! :

Bigger stars than Adam cope with this stuff all the time.

Okay, so after I saw my post here quoted by the @cwnewser dude, I tweeted him on a whim to say that I was glad I could clarify things, lol. Well, he tweeted me a little while ago and said he wanted to explain a bit about last night via DM. We had a really nice convo and he seems like a cool guy, actually. I'll summarize what he told me: He says his friend is the GM at the club, and CWNewser and TMZ and other paps knew Adam was there last night. When CWNewser's friend tweeted that Adam was leaving with the GM's boyfriend, CWN RT'd the tweet not thinking much of it. He says he didn't mean to imply that there was anything going on, and by the time he started to get bombarded with tweets from glamberts, it was too late. He tried to clarify (this is true) but he says his twitter was flooded with outraged fans. (Oh dear, I wish people would be a bit more careful before going into Exterminate mode, but yeah...) CWN says he's not a pap but rather a reporter and really didn't intend to shit-stir or cast Adam in a bad light last night. As for reporting on Adam's hotel, he says that the info was already public and that this sort of info is shared on a regular basis. Also that Hotel Monaco had security so Adam wasn't at any risk. (Not 100% sure I agree with this, but I don't really pay a lot of attention to celeb gossip sites. Also it's not so much a security issue as it is a privacy thing, what with the potential for stalker fans, but ok whatever.) He says that this gave some fans today an opportunity to see him today if they missed his appearance at Cobalt last night. (Where the fuck are those fans and why haven't we seen those pics, hmmm?) He says that one of Adam's people reached out to him and he knows Adam is cool with him and understands there was no ill intent. CWN says he'll probably see Adam tomorrow and to keep our eye out for pics/vid on TMZ from the club appearance and airport. And from my very limited interaction with CWN, he seems sincere and without ill intent. NoAngel, thank for sharing this. Not sure if it's rookie mistakes or not... I guess my only objection was when he mention about Adam's hotel. Yes, it's a public knowledge among the reporter and paps and I'm pretty sure that all paps knew about it but they didn't disclose it on tweeter. They probably share the infor over the phone. And the fact that the hotel has their own security doesn't make it right for him to disclose that information .. there could be stalkers, etc. Guess if he's still lurking in Atop.. there's a line that he shouldn't cross and he'll learn.

ETA: Thanks, NoAngel. Poor guy. Stung by a horde of angry Glamberts. I was checking his @ replies both right after he posted and this morning and I think both he and Toby were greatly exaggerating the 'horde of angry glamberts'. There were two or three 'huh are you trying to start something?' comments, and several 'lol, no that's his boyfriend' ones, but not a pile-on IMHO. LOL I do notice these 'reporter' are very sensitive on twitter. Then they get defensive, say something nasty and start a storm. At one point I kind of thought TK and this guy were one & the same.....still wonder. On the other hand, I cannot believe after all this time the angry glamberts have not learned not to engage. I do think it is much, much better and therefore am surprised, but it get them more hits & RTs.

I know I'm sometimes shocked by it.

Doesn't surprise me, I kind of think Adam would not necessarily be comfortable with those pay for show deals. I'm sure he probably did some when 19 was managing him but I would think he might see this more along the lines of supporting his community. The club gets the exposure from him being there and he gets the chance to test his songs. Kind of like when he said he didn't get paid for all those photo shoots and they were done for exposure. I honestly think he is a hot enough property that he could get paid for those shoots if he demanded it. I know with U2 if they interviewed with magazines and the photos were just candid shots no money changed hands but for more formal stylized shoots they did get something extra. A couple of the mags they did confirmed this.

Yep.. as much as annoying the paps are I don't think they disclose celebs hotels or where they're staying. I think Tobby tweeted that there's a line he shouldn't cross, that they don't do it in Hollywood and they don't do it in DC. Toby annoys me all the time when he act like he knows about Adam fans and trying to be the voice of us but this one I agree with him.
