I've been doing a bit of Adam performance surfing. Went to a live show last night and decided that Adam has ruined me, I fiound myself subconsciously comparing them to Adam ... Not fair on them. Am sure I'm not alone and so this evening was my palate cleanser. EMAs, some acoustic BTIKM and I feel much better. Also checked out some live performances of Nate Ruess from Fun (tonight we are young song). I think it as Rolling Stone that made some kind of comparison between him and Adam. I don't get it. He has a nice indie voice and the song is catchy but in the other live performances in listened to he doesn't have any where near the control or interpretation, but there is that unfair comparison thing kicking in again... Ok enough rambling.

Thank You NoAngel for another insightful Sunday essay. I will also miss the glitz and glitter. Not sure what I will do with a drawer full of sparkly tops, rhinestones, eyelash glue, glitter, and eyeliner. Adam is working hard and will have a long and successful career ahead of him. As you noted, he is working his chess board and making the right moves, his fan base is expanding, and his music is storyline to his experience and growth as a person and a professional. There will always be layers of Adam. Underneath the cardigan the glitter still lurks. Fierce Adam is there and we will see him on tour and he is still pushing boundaries and there will be more pearls exploding in the futre. I definitely think it is the best ear candy around and am patiently (not) waiting for the album release.

NoAngelThank you once again for writing an essay and placing things into a great perspective! As for me I think part of Adam's changing is strategy, smart clever man, and part of him is that he's really changing. We all know how Adam gets bored easily. We may see it again in the future. I love every look of his (except from that bolo? you call it? tie) And I have no complains, that Blond outfit was surely another type of glam to me, just different glam. I think we're very lucky to stan a man with not only an amazing voice but so many aspects of character and looks! :D
