He is actually #51 now. Would have made 50 if one of the expected purges/recurrents had happened. He will be Top 50 next Sunday. And I will be very surprised if he is not Top 20 in HAC next Sunday.[/quote] I couldn't find the Sunday final chart when I posted -- so just grabbed the Saturday chart. The spin count is essentially the same -- only a few CHR stations are playing BTIKM -- not enough to move it up into Top 40 -- but it is possible it could get there because the CHR chart is really top-heavy. Top 40 is 755 spins. But on HAC -- Top 20 is in our sites -- and he has 56 stations playing it -- so Top 10 is possible. IMO we need to focus on moving it up the HAC charts. If it could get into the Top 10 on HAC then it might cross-over to CHR. IF YOU HAVE REQUESTED LATELY -- REQUEST FROM YOUR LOCAL STATION -- AND I THINK THAT THE PLACE TO REQUEST IS HAC STATIONS. [/quote] Hmm..Top 10 is a long order. Currently Top 10 on HAC is at 2808 spins, and BTIKM is at 918, so like 1890 spins ahead. BUT, if it makes Top 20, gets lots of requests, and a lot of stations start adding and upping spins because of that, it has a real chance of getting up there. |

I don't know, I only wanted them to stick with BTIKM till April, then move on to next single. But with all of these good updates, I don't know.. It seems like he has a good chance of getting Top 20 by end of the week and even Top 15 by the end of the month, if that big group of songs that are coming down gets purged, goes recurrent, or drops fast enough, and he moves up high enough. Anyway, YAY! It seems that my current hope still might happen. When BTIKM first came out, my goal was for it to be Top 15/10 on HAC and Top 20/15 on CHR. It still might not happen for CHR, but it just might on HAC! Happy being an Adam fan at the moment.  |

A little thorn in my happiness today - BTIKM fell to #37 (from #32) on my local CHR station. One he visited. Two weeks ago it was #27 so it's going in the wrong direction. Hope this isn't indicative of other CHR stations that were spinning.

I think it will be late April. Really, they must be nearly finished by now. I'm going with the April 16th date that's been floating around at some European sites. That had to come from somewhere, right? :-/ It is not from Sony -- but based on a retail website date. I am hearing maybe April 30th from a couple big US Retailers. But apparently there is no date yet. All RCA will say is Spring. One friend their told me Springish. So I guess they are learning Adam time.  |
