While we wait, I wanted to comment on Adam's marathon PR tour. It is grueling, no two ways about it. But, remember, he comes from a theater background, performing 8 shows a week. Same songs, same moves, same script. This is not that different. However, I do wonder how he can keep straight what he has said in every interview. The same questions, the same talking points. I know when I teach two sections of the same class at college in one day, I sometimes forget or lose track of what I said in each class. "Did we talk about that?" Adam is certainly a trouper. I haven’t read the entire thread yet, but regarding m&gs: Guess I should have given my ticket to a complete stronger off the street. Or should I have told The Russian Lady café owner when offered to come inside that I couldn’t do that because I am afraid of the fandom ridicule. :-/ No ridicule from me! I'm happy for everybody that's gotten a chance to go to the radio shows, no matter how many times they went. I'd certainly go everytime I was lucky enough to get the chance. So thankful to my gracious friends for taking me as their +1 and for being at the right place and the right time. I will be emailing The Russian Lady to thank them for hosting Adam and for being so kind for inviting the fans into see Adams show. |

I got the feeling that it was more that Adam was feeling very assertive today, not his usual overly pc self. I loved it. He's just saying what he's thinking instead of softening it. The refusal to sing BH for Matty made me think he doesn't want to sing it without knowing it's the best he can do. The request at 104 that people step back then the sarcasm about same old questions being resurrected was funny.
Perhaps now that he can see the end of the road for this segment of the trip, he's feeling feisty.
And want to add my kudos to Tommy's performances today and loved that we got to see him smile.
Of course, I'm always in Tommy's corner, so this is nothing new.
I would have loved to see his face when Adam called a halt to Trespassing. That was hysterical.
On a final note, I'm on Matty's side that Adam should have NOT been as honest about going to another station. I was in sales and you always let, not made, but LET, each customer think he was the ONLY one. Is that a lie? Maybe by omission, but it works. Adam has said that sometimes his honesty comes back to bite him in the behind and though no harm done, this was one of those times.

I have never seen an artist do a radio promo tour like this -- and work this hard. And Adam stays in such good spirits! I would probably just loose it when the 14th DJ asks him dog or cat? Or if he is excited to perform with QUEEN.

aloha I made an mp3 for Trespassing but there is also a lot of talking at the end with Matt and I was always bored to find out how to cut the mp3's lol.
