OMG - the London showcase Tresspassing!!!!! I have not really been a lover of that song, but this version is amazing!!!!! His voice.... gahhhh. What an amazing day full of interviews and vids. I have to say my favorite is when he was describing how he made the bow tie. It is so hilarious to think about all the people out there who think he is such a wild child, crazy partier, and meanwhile he is at home crafting. lololol Does anyone remember an old interview he did where he was showing the interviewer how to use some sort of craft tool- to apply studs to fabrics or something. Pretty funny. And it is hilarious that many in the audience knew exactly what jacket he was talking about when he talked about making the tie. He really is a good sport about all of that. ETA: Wonder if he knows about Gelly and her photographic memory... Oh the Idol vest!! |

AND lynne...didilynn...you are also right on the money...that soundcloud version of the John Mayer BTIKM was truly amazing ...and so was the sound quality. Adam sang that so high in that version. He did himself proud. Just wondering is that what you call head voice ...or just singing high?soundcloud.com/galechester/kc101-3-hartford-conn Yup, in this version Adam does use his head voice every time he goes for the high notes. I think you can hear the slight shift in tone in the chorus when he sings "better than I know myseeeeeeellllllf." The rest of the song is sung in his chest voice. The thing about Adam, tho', is he is masterful at singing very lightly in chest voice but with a lot of ring and resonance in his head and sinuses. This makes his lower register sound like a floating head voice, and blends the tones of the different notes together nicely. A delicious sound. We all could sit and listen to Adam talk all day. Cassie - I could sit and listen to you talk about Adam's voice all day. What you said here was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.  |

Yes, it was the Elvis Duran bedazzler interview -- but the bedazzled item of clothing he wore was that vest from the closing of the Idols Live! Tour. (Unless I have lost my mind -- which is always possible.) |

I remember him working the bedazzler! He seemed like such a pro! Wasn't that with Elvis Duran? Or some other DJ?
Also, brings to mind the E True Hollywood Story and that little flower he made for a play tha his drama teacher saved all these years - awwwww
Adam is very creative!
ETA: It was Elvis Duran! Thanks for the video reminder - loved that!
