Okey dokey...I am buying it again as I want this to be true.... the pictures do not tell the story - they mostly look like blogger kids... (At the RMT concert there were people in real suits in the VIP area on the balcony, they were there for Adam set only.... well, may be they are at the party but are not proned to taking pictures...) I'm kinda with you on this....I don't see evidence of any big names and the guys tweeting pics look like, well, what you said - blogger kids. ??? edit/ okay mys*&@^#r....I didn't see that particular photo. |

It's different because 1) It is not December 2) It is NYC 3) RCA is in NYC 4) He is not going to people's offices and playing parts of the CD for them. This is an event. A party. An organized, invitation only, no guests party!!!!! I'm a long time lurker. I belonged to the old board for a short time, jus before it folded.
I hope I'm not bad luck.
Anyway, I did have to chime in to suggest that the listening party tonight would seem to be one
geared toward gay media, and gay music professionals.
Adam has been doing his radio promo, which I hope will get him on the radio. I think tonight
is about getting OUT the word that Adam has some new music that can be/should be played in the gay clubs.
I know that sixpackradio is a weekend show on OUTQ on Sirius, and some of the others at the party
tonight have ties to the gay music and gay club scene.
Getting your music played in the gay dance clubs can help a song move to pop radio. I think that's
what Adam is doing tonight.

I understood what you meant and I hope others understood that I AM NOT a Belieber, or whatever the hell they call themselves!  Don't worry I give the Biebs one good more year before he joins the Jonas Bro in teen idol retirement. Considering how fast chunks of his fanbase are divorcing themselves from him and getting engaged to the boys of 1D. I teach 13 year old girls, and all they are talking about is one direction. Hey, it is like 4 Biebs in 1. How to bring that back on topic? Hmmmm... One direction is newnownext for teens; I can't wait to see what Adam will perform on newnownext. ;D |

The truth is, we don't know who was at the listening party---I hope we find out. Obviously, I hope it included some important people and not just "blogger dudes." That would be disappointing. Some PDs and major print media (like someone from Rolling Stone) would be my dream.
All I know is that this management put together a hugely successful listening party for Katy. Of course, Adam isn't Katy Perry...
