That's the one I entered the contest for, and I hope it's at 5:00 because then I'd have time to make arrangements to get there if I won. I don't have a car. I don't know what I'm worried about, since there's probably not a snowball's chance in hell that I'll win, but I've been going over the possibilities in my mind of how to get there if I do, and it sure would make it easier if it's later in the day. |

My daughter just got two tickets for Adam's promo tomorrow. I am trying to decide whether to fly there. Work is craaaaazy right now. Grades due, a big festival I'm in charge of... But I really want to go with her. How fun would that be? I've never met Adam before. Her good friend works at the radio station there. What to do, what to do.... What to do??? Get yer coat you've pulled and fly woman! |

Lynne, don't want to bury you in GOOOOOOs but I find that when something like this happens I can use it as motivation to be particularly efficient with my work. Think of how much grading you could get done on the plane with such a carrot hanging at the other end of the flight! Justify the trip by portioning off little parcels of time in which you work like a fiend demon, and I'm betting you'd get more done that way than if you'd never gone at all. Plus, surely you owe that daughter a visit, no? Course ya do!  |
