OMG, the "Cuckoo" snippet!! "Cuckoo" is fantastic!! Love the lyrics, love the music, love everything about it---so much! I think it's the perfect next single. Adam needs a song that will bust down the door in a big way so that every other awesome track from the CD will have smoother sailing, and I think that song is "Cuckoo!" Talk about a hook. It just grabs me from the first second it starts. It's unique and it's fun.
I was surprised in the best way by the studio version of "Trespassing." It rocks! (But I think "Cuckoo" is more radio-friendly.) I vacillate between "Trespassing" and "Naked Love" as my second choices. I love "Naked Love!" I didn't expect that because I didn't care for the club snippet. But his voice sounds great and so sexy on this song and I think it's definitely radio-ready. I dance in my chair when I listen to it.
"Never Close Our Eyes" is a bore for me. It sounds too generic and lacks energy and even the vocals sound tired to me. Maybe I'll feel differently when I hear the whole song.

Was jammin' to the tunes & the phone rang. Was just going to ignore it, but looked to see who it was. OMG! It was a place I'd just applied to this morning wanting to know if I could come in for an interview!! Hmmmm wonder if I can sell furniture? ;D Could be interesting. I had to take the earphones off for a bit. I must have had the sound really loud because I now have a major headache!! Oh, what we do for Adam. But, I don't really mind that much.  |

I love all the songs that leaked today, but I think Cuckoo and Trespassing would be great for the next single. Adam's voice sounds great on everything, of course. I definitely want to "party til' they take us away"!
Lynne -- I hope you find a ticket at a reasonable price because you must go and report back to us! Think of it as mom/daughter bonding time... (and your daughter can watch you turn into a 14 year old!).

MY dogs think I've gone Cuckoo.. dancing around the house to Cuckoo and Trespassing. Love Cuckoo.. Now these songs should be listened to by radio with a signed contract from Kiss the top 40 hits that they will be played often and every day. Now that's what a want.

Does anyone else think that a gay man singing about wanting "your naked love" might be a problem for some radio PD's/listeners? ( ducks) :-/ Yeahhh...I was thinking the same thing. But, it could be a hit later if he has another song hit big first. Love the song but Cuckoo would be the perfect fun song for summer with Trespassing a close second. NCOE is just meh for me and I'm afraid CHR wouldn't jump on it at all. I think I'm just tired of safe Adam and I just want RCA to turn edgy Adam loose! |

I have my favourites but mostly, just grateful for new music to inhale. And "leaking" them today is perfect strategy to keep everyone who was expecting the full album, inside the GNAFL net. |
