Thanks Lynne, Hoopla, and all you smart folks who remember to preserve every word, every picture, every twitter, every appearance with Adam. The one and only time I had any contact with Adam was when he first was on twitter. I think he had a couple thousand followers. Everything was so new. If I had know then what I know now................ Anyway, someone had tweeted some kind of snide remark to him on twitter. Of course, I shot a tweet off to Adam. I don't remember what it said but it was a compliment to counteract the negative one. Before I could take a breath Adam answered back with some small thank you message. I could not react. I sat looking at it with my mouth open. I felt like someone had hit me in the side of the head. My heart was pounding, and I felt so scared I shut twitter off. Isn't this a story for the ages. I still tear up everytime I think about it. I guess I am just one of those people who cannot react to an emergency. I freeze. I am still upset, and it has been over three years. I still relive it and my heart beats faster each time. I don't know what this says about me, and I don't think I want to know. I never even went back to see if I could retrieve it. How lame is that? Don't feel bad, Irish--you're not lame, you're normal! I was within three feet of him 3 (or 4?) times at the GN tour barricades and was so overwhelmed I could not say a word...the last time I yelled "Adam, you rock!" AFTER he was already on the bus! :  I'm so happy that I didn't quake and shake and just stare at him like a lemur on Monday! I don't know what got into me, but very grateful I could speak to him. He really is just a normal person, too. (Okay--not really!) ;D |

OMG!!!!! I WON PASSES FROM 97.3 IN SAN FRANCISCO TO MEET ADAM LAMBERT AND GO TO THE ACOUSTIC SHOW! MARCH 28th OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! I'VE NEVER MET ADAM!!! IM FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW!! OMG!! I might tell him about that, lol. I was telling people that just hearing him say my name was almost as good as a meet and greet but not quite!! Lynne: Your recap was delightful. You captured the spirit of the man and the event. Thank you so much. So glad you took the leap and fell into the glitter. Several days ago Q3 talked about Adam portraying James Bond in a movie. My sub-conscious was obviously working on that idea because last night I dreamed that Adam was starring in a TV series somewhat like the show "Leverage." It's a bit like an updated Mission Impossible. Anyway, Adam was the con man/grifter/actor who would take on all these different characters. In one scene he was suave in a tuxedo, in another he was a slightly crazed/funny homeless guy. I woke up thinking my subconscious was actually genius. Adam could do all these characters, use all the faces and the different voices he can do, dress up and put on make up, switch things up and show all his sides. Yeah, that could work. His true identity could be as a famous pop star traveling the world touring and appearing (and doing his spy/con/save the world bit while he is at it.) That way he could sing on the shows too. Someone want to sell that to Adam?  ;D I like it! It's going to be tough to fit into his schedule considering he will be starring in his own daily TV show. |

I think the difference this time for me was this: Monday he made the "space" feel like he was not in a hurry, like he was just relaxing and settled in for a long chat. I only wish I really HAD been brave enough to ask if I could ride back to KC with them. I'm not kidding. You never get anything you don't ask for! |

If there is anyone here in the SF Bay area who wants to see Adam, call Jane the DJ at 97.3, she just gave passes to two of my friends. The number there is 1 800 400 3697!! GOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm not even kidding. She just gave my BFF two passes and my other friend two passes!! Just talk to her. Like now, she seems to be in a very giving mood!!

Thanks, Gelly and Koshka! I love to read others' recaps more than my own, actually. Lynne's was so cool. When FANS ask the questions, it's way more interesting IMO.
Now I have to close my laptop until tomorrow night and prepare for giving a deposition tomorrow afternoon. I've never done this before. I'm dreading it SO much.
But meeting Adam put me in kind of a "Zen" state of happiness, so I'm grateful for that! I will kill them with love and patience and unperturbability (?is that even a word?) What I mean is I will refuse to let them rattle me. (I hope!)
