Lynne, I loved your recap and am so happy that you got spend such quality time with both Adam and your daughter; what a wonderful experience!
So I usually get on-line late in the evening and am always in catch-up mode and don’t post, but today I did something that I wanted to share. I decided to hold a mini-focus group with some women from my office to get their opinions on the four snippets. It was a little weird because I’m usually all business and never talk about Adam, but it was actually really fun.
My work associates are ages 27, 32, 32 and 42. They are all professionals, very stylish and current, and they all listen to Top 40 radio with the oldest also into alternative rock. We gathered around a table and I played each snippet without them knowing who the artist was. We played them several times and had a general discussion about each song.
The 42 and 27 year-olds liked Cuckoo best, and both 32 year-olds liked NCOE best. They all really liked Cuckoo and thought that it was really catchy and made them want to sing along. The 32 year-olds like NCOE because it reminded them of college and clubs...techno and dancy. The 27 year-old didn’t really like the first part of the NCOE snippet, but liked the second half. They were really trying to figure out where Tresspassing fit… it’s just different than what’s out there today. They also thought that Naked Love was really dancy. They commented that they could see all of the songs on Top 40 radio and also that the singer was really good.

I was excited to hear that BTIKM was played in St.Louis today. But I was not able to verify.
AdamRocks, you said 100.7, but that is a sports station out of Troy, MO. I assume you meant
KSLZ, 107.7. So I checked the media base playlist, and did not see that it was played.
I also checked Y98 playlist, and did not see it.
I was encouraged that I might be able to request at 107.7, but it is difficult if it is not at least
on the station's playlist. I will check the playlist again tomorrow in case i missed it.

He's #2 on the queue now so I'll start... see everybody there! :D What is frustrating is they put BTIKM #1 five times just as they picked a song to play and after 3 or so minutes, it goes off to last place. They are playing with us >:( as usual... repeats the same cycle over and over ...I'll stay for another 15 minutes |

That's a remix of "Walking on a dream" from "Empire of the sun"! I don't know which remix it is but I have their CD (2 CD's, one of them with the remixes of their songs!), so I will try to find out!  |
