[snerk] Anyone who would be butthurt when someone turns down a drink offer when that person is with their significant other needs an attitude adjustment. Seriously. As for the "no photo" comment...when one is "off the clock" there no requirement to give photos. A couple on "their" time are also not required to give photos. Some of last night's tweeters need to get a grip. #entitlementisnotsexy Whenever I read a story about how a celebrity was rude--even if it's not Adam--I think of an incident that actress Melissa Gilbert talked about in her book. At the time she was on Little House on the Prairie, and she was traveling by plane with her family. Her little sister Sara (yes, the one that Adam picked up on The Talk) was about four at the time, and their mother had given her Brenadryl, hoping it would make her sleep on the plane. Instead it made her hyperactive. They got to the airport, and while their mother was busy getting their luggage, Melissa was holding on to Sara, who was screaming and fighting and trying to run away. A woman came over and said, "Aren't you the girl on Little House on the Prairie? May I have your autograph?" Melissa, who was being pummeled by her hysterical little sister's fists at the time, said, "I'm kind of busy right now!" and the woman said coldly, "You really are a little brat, aren't you?" That was before the Internet, but can you imagine how the story would have been told if that woman had had a Twitter account? "Asked Melissa Gilbert for an autograph but apparently she's too famous to bother with people like me!" It's so easy for people to tell only their side of a story and make someone else look bad, and these days the lie can go around the world in a few minutes.

I guess I must be missing something but I don't really see what the big deal is here. Maybe Sauli didn't want a picture taken so he said no. * shrugs* If the guy thought that was rude, so what? And as far as not wanting Adam to go out, I mean, c'mon ... he's a 30 year old man! I love him too but I hope we can get past hand-wringing every time he is out and about in social situations. I agree. You know what they say about all work and no play! I wouldn't presume to tell my 19yr old granddaughter who has a good head on her shoulders not to go out, let alone a 30 yr old man.

Let me also say that, in this current climate of extremely easy internet access and ever common Smartphone use, a lot of many people are cultivating a really disturbing attitude that "OF COURSE EVERYTHING IS PUBLIC".
Wrong.
Just because someone might feel that every wisp of their experience should be shared with the known world, does not make that sentiment universal. For instance, I would be pissed as hell if anyone posted my picture online. Not because I don't like the way I look. But because its no one's else's damn business to use my picture but me. My family's Facebook is private. I don't give Chucky Cheese my actual birthday when they ask. Long before there was a law against it, I flatly refused to provide my Social Security number to random salesclerks.
My private life is mine to share in the manner that *I* see fit.
People who have the gall to have a hissy fit when other people don't share to *their* expectations hit a really aggrevating nerve with me

*roars into thread and screeches to a halt* *looks around wild eyed* Morning everyone *waves* OK, I'm DAYS behind on the threads cos I'm in the middle of a bert fest with the amazeballs #NZGlitterTribe . Last night was our mammoth FABULOUS 'Failure to Launch' party. I've had six hours sleep, can't talk properly from too much noisy berting, yelling, singing and general flailing and squeeing -EPIC. I have absolutely no idea what is going on in Adamland, but all I do know is that Adam Fucking Lambert gave the NZGlitterTribe a personal vid message to us last night, but apparently it's super sekrit : and we can't let anyone else see it. WHY??? But we all watched it eleventy billion times and squeed loudly...lol The lovely Kiwifever, flew up from the bottom of the country and is staying with me. It's 9.15am Sunday morning here and we are just gearing up right now to get ready, drive into the city and catch the ferry across to Devonport where a whole lot of GlitterTribers are gonna descend on Liam and The Flea for his weekly broadcast So tune in and listen to his show which is in just under 2 hours and y'all might hear some of us berting. Gotta run...... will try and do an update later. Good luck to Mayumi and the other Atoppers who, I think, are probably in the middle of their bertfest right now. *waves and speeds outta thread* >>>>>>> theflea.co.nz/

I am a long time resident of Atop, but hardly posted. I cannot express myself eloquently as English is not my native language. Just drop by to say that I absolutely love all 4 snippets, TP and Cuckoo are my top 2 pick for the single. Last night I did a family voting on the next single and the results make me feel much more optimistic about Adam’s next single and new album, fingers crossed. My husband --- picked TP for the next single. He likes TP the best because it’s different and unique in the very good way according to him. He likes Cuckoo next, but he thought Naked Love and NCOE were too generic. Trust me he never said any song that’s very good. He did not like BTIKM. My 12 years old daughter –- she picked Cuckoo out of the gate (listened only twice), liked TP second. She listens to Z100 only, nothing else! Funny thing was she immediately googlled both cuckoo and TP lyrics and sang along right after listened to the snippets. That’s a very good sign I think!!!! My 17 years old daughter –- She loves POP songs and listens to top40 only as well. After numerous listens, she said, “mom, they are all so good, really good, very hard to pick one.” I literally had a big grin on my face… She rated TP > Cuckoo > Naked Love > NCOE. She loves TP the most, saying it has Adam’s signature in it; the beat and dubstep are so good, on and on... But she said Cuckoo maybe a safer fit for Top 40. But then this morning she changed her mind, saying Adam should go for TP as the next Top40 release. She also added “mom, I am going to love Adam’s new album; those snippets are just so good!!!!” This made me very happy, yeh!!! I love hearing about these "rate the music" surveys with non-Glamberts. We know that WE love the music, but these songs are getting a good response from lots of others. I especially like hearing about the teenage reactions. Thanks for de-lurking to share! (btw, your English is great)

And as Adam has often noted, the bad stuff gets HeWhoCannot amedeted far louder than the good. Really wish that either the whiners would grow up (unlikely), or that their whining not be spread more thickly than the far larger quantity of wonderful stuff.

There is a short review of “Better than I know myself” in the video text of our German music channel VIVA. I took a picture of it and scanned it. Besides I tried to translate the text but I think some phrases sound a little funny and don’t make much sense referring only to the song (for example “giving us the eye…”!?!)! But perhaps they were also writing about the video!?! ??? Anyway! It is a nice and positive review! ;D Adam Lambert – Better than I know myself With his new hit song Adam Lambert hits us right in the heart. With “Better than I know myself” the musical actor and runner-up of “American Idol” is not only giving us the eye but also bringing a wonderful spring fever to us. One really asks himself how the beautiful Californian could only become runner-up. He is definitely the winner of the hearts.
