PHEW!!! LOL!! Since it's kinda quiet here, I decided to go down the rabbit hole....way down...lmao! Just watched Adam sing WLL at Fantasy Springs. O.M.G.!!!!! Still gets me so bad/good!! Heh! Then, was thinking that maybe some of the newbies, especially the ones that discovered Adam kind of late, maybe hadn't seen all this goodness. But.........gotta tell ya, that FS WLL is just the BESTEST thing EVAH!!! hahaha!! Thank you glittergma, this was a new site to me. And I am ready to dodge any flying projectiles... But... After watching all these promo videos and new photo shoots........... Watching Adam in GNT seems weird. I followed him in Idol, and have been following him closely since last Nov (originally due to an adorable Finn). I sort of missed GNT. It seems like he would be a different person now vs. then. Maybe it's partially because these are shows and he's an actor after all. GNT was "musical theater" (on the best possible way!) and the current Adam is the real Adam? That's what he has been kind of saying, but I just now really realized the difference. IMO both GNT and current Adam (and theater Adam) are the REAL Adam, because he lives his life in the moment and keeps evolving (that's one of the main reasons I think so very highly of him)  ;D  |

QueeenAI, you're so very welcome!! I love TheSpindleShays site. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed FS and all the goodness there.
Oh wow, you're from Austria...awesome! One of the places I'd most love to visit, along with Denmark!! YAY!!
Just watched Fever from FS!!! Holy Fuck!!!! And, at the end, Adam says *Get it Girl* to our very own AMW!!! YAYYYY!!
I truly love all that I'm hearing from Trespassing, but I will always LOVE everything from FYE!!! So many late nights watching cell casts at concerts, etc. I did get to go to one, but my mind is still pretty much a blank on that one...lol!! Something about Adam....
But, something I will always treasure, for sure. I went with Hoopla1 and we had so much fun. The thing I remember most is the fact that I realized that Adam is really a *real person* LOL!!
And, he looked so young and innocent. Can't wait for the new album, but have such tender memories of FYE!!
Ok, back to FS I go!! LOL!!

Adam has continually evolved, and IMO, he always will. I love the old & I love the new. And, I know I will love everything to come. He's just the best of the best!!! I still love to look back and see where it all started. FS was before GNT even came about. At FS, he seemed so loose...hehe...and fun. Oh hell, it's all fun & will continue to be so. |

YES YES YES. All those feathers & the blue feathers in his hair & all the GLITTER in his hair...and the pants....I love how we were all shouting out the "OH"s when he sang FYE. And WLL.....well that will always be mind-blowing. Gah. Thanks for posting this glittergma! You're welcome, ginger!! You were there, weren't you? So jealous!! LOL!! I thought about going, but was kind of scared & really didn't have the funds to spare at the time. Wish I would have just said fuck it, and gone. It was such an epic night, and we got it all in vids, which is the next best thing!!! YAY!!! Yep, loved the blue feathers, the glitter, and especially the pants!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahaha!!! OMG, some of those moves.....just WOW!!!! |

From what Adam has said lately, he is more comfortable in his *skin*. He has mentioned that he kind of *hid* behind the makeup, etc. before. I totally love all aspects of the man, be it made up or natural. I don't care what he does as far as that goes, as long as he sings!!
But, there is something about FS that really grabs me. Maybe it's because we were all so excited to finally see him in a one off before his GNT. But, I love it all!!! And, I always will. I can't compare any of it, because it's always ADAM!!!

What I meant with "real" was closer to his non-stage persona. Well, maybe even that is not correct, knowing how he still likes to play dress-up (as we got to see again today in the FAULT video My English as the third language is failing me, so let's just say different! And I sure can't wait how the next incarnation will be like. This reminded me: Someone said in Twitter today that isn't it amazing that Adam can visit Top 40 radio stations and talk about his boyfriend very normally. No gay questions, but normal relationship talk. I hadn't thought about it that way before, but the girl in Twitter was right. He is really a trailblazer. Maybe it will be an easier path for the next gay artist signing up with a major label in the US. |
