Home from a FANTASTIC weekend! Smokey and mayumi outdid themselves to make everything absolutely perfect. Smokey - I am amazed at your house. If any of you ever need help selecting paint colors or arranging a room, Smokey is your woman. Her house is a showcase. Her cooking ain't too shabby either. She provided a feast for all of us on Friday night. Her family is a delight - her son should do a standup comedy show - I could sit for hours listeneing to him talk. He's hilarious. mayumi - as usual, you're the hostess with the mostest. Mayumi had a southern BBQ dinner for us on Saturday night. I think I gained 5 pounds on that one meal. It was worth it. mayumi's huge home has the most beautiful setting on a lake - beautiful sunroom and deck on the back. I could sit out there looking at the lake forever. So glad we got to meet the one's who came from far away that had never attended the Atlanta party before to include our leader, Q3. Such a treat! Thanks for sharing needacoke and for the pictures earlier.

Adam is working closer to 1.4 million followers. Whatever happened to our predictions on when Adam would reach 2 million. I think many of us were over zealous in our guess for a date. Is the information on the site somewhere? I would not have a clue where to begin to look. With the Queen performances coming up and more world recognition maybe we could revisit our predictions? Just a thought. Looking forward to the recaps from members who won passes & going to see Adam in Portland later this afternoon - I give it to the fall to be way over 2,000,000,after Trespassing and Queen.. It's gotta be.

Thanks to all for today's thread . NoAngel has once again contributed a Sunday masterpiece which in turn has provided a thread of thoughtful posts. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them. Animated...Relentless..you captured that one... The celebrations that were held sounded like so much fun! I wonder if Adam truly knows the depth of friendships that have been born through our association with this artist. My only POO of the day is Amazon's intended ship date, which has already been posted. Glad I ordered from AO as well. Hey, 'Bingers'..bring on that Portland lurve. .Abriton, I'm looking at you!!

I think in a perfect world, if everything had been ready etc..., NCOE should have been the lead single instead of BTIKM. (hindsight at it's finest ) Then follow with Cuckoo/Trespassing and things would have really exploded. By the time these three were done then Naked Love could be played no problem. I still think that can happen if the next song takes off but I'm not sure about NCOE now. It's too similar to my ears to BTIKM and WWFM, just faster. I mean it's not mid-tempo but it's in the same vein as those two songs and maybe going with something that has a lot more punch and attitude is the thing to do. I can see why this is a very hard decision. I'm quoting part of your post from back on page 5 kathleenpf because it would have been the PERFECT SCENARIO. I see SusieFierce weighed in too and agreed. I so wish RCA would have been prescient enough to do exactly that. Instead we're now at the point where single #2 is almost do or die for this era. I also agree with what you said about NCOE. Yes, it's catchy. I love it - but it does have similarities to BTIKM & WWFM. And what would the video be like? NL is very catchy but just a no-no for a gay man and that's a fucking shame. That leaves Cuckoo & Trespassing - both of which would have really kick-ass videos and AWESOME performances on Idol. I love Trespassing and think the London Showcase performance is one of his best performances ever! I adore it. I just think Tsp is too complicated for simplistic Top 40 radio at this point. So Cuckoo seems the best choice IMO. Catchy and fun. Perfect for radio. The scenario you outlined would have been so much better. RCA made the wrong decision... period. But no use crying over spilt milk. Sorry to drag down the mood of the thread. I didn't mean to but when I saw kathleen's post I just had to agree with her & expand a bit. No matter how you look at it there are exciting days ahead!!!

I can assure y'all of very little -- but one thing is certain -- as long as there are two people who want to post here -- me and anyone else -- this site will be here. This is not a little thing to me. Believe it or not, this kind of reassurance helps get me through some very trying times. I will always be grateful to you for this, Q3.

YAY!!!!!
Q, you rock!!!!!!
This place is awesome, it is like a second home to me. I am coming up on 2 years membership at PF (R.I.P.) > Atop1 > Atop2. I think I joined PF on March 30, 2010. I thought it was 3 years? Anyway, I lurked pretty seriously for at least 4 months. I had never joined an on-line site, I had never been a "fan" of an entertainer before. But I was so facinated by Adam, and loved all the comments and flailing and tomfoolery at PF, I finally bit the bullet and joined up. Best decision of my recent life! I am constantly entertained, this place is at times hillarious ROFLMAO hillarious! So many smart peeps here, and truly golden hearts here. I have made some good friends here, and so looking forward to meeting some of yall at Sonisphere this year!
Thanks to everyone that posts here, contributes their hearts and souls and wonderlust for our Fabulous Adam Fucking Lambert.
Thanks Adam for bringing us all together.
