I should know this but I don't - What position did BTIKM reach on iTunes on the first day? Was it #19? Yes ;D Yay for my memory! ;D

I guess it's ok to track it here. Relevant no? Last I looked it was #118 on Pop but don''t know the overall position. PM

Last I looked it was #118 on Pop but don''t know the overall position. PM Things don't look so good for TVOL, so far. It has less than half the spins that BTIKM had at three weeks and there isn't a single CHR station that is giving it any spins. I remember a few posters predicting that TVOL was more "radio friendly" than BTIKM. : TVOL has just now entered the top 300 on itunes. It took BTIKM ONE HOUR to enter the top 200! Even Cook's and Haley's singles made it to the top 50. There is very little interest currently in this Script sound-a-like song with the ~inspirational message. The mv is going to be another one targeted at bullying. NAL has a tiny fanbase (but they are VERY vocal at MJs) and zero buzz this era.

Wow, didn't Archie fans get his second single up higher than that? Well, I guess the song will have to make it based off casual fans, and nonfans who end up hearing it and likes the song. I have to admit that even though it sounds alright, the lyrics are cheesy as hell, (Stand up for the vision of love?! ???) But lyrics don't really matter on pop music anyway. And not to get into any NAL bashing or whatever, but the way that RCA just seems to be throwing this song out there it's like....they barely have much of an investment in it. Kind of almost like if it makes it, it makes it, but if it doesn't, it won't be too much of a problem for them. Seems very...Leeish to me, I don't know.. But I hope he does well though.

I remember that too. Some Adam fans here on Atop were lamenting the fact that TVOL was much more CHR sounding than BTIKM. I hadn't heard the song at that time so that got me a little skeered tbh. ;D
Funny you should say that marie because some folks on twitter were complaining that RCA was giving nal so much more promo than Adam - physical single, major KP-inspired MV & some other stuff I can't remember. Had me bummed for a minute until I considered the source. ;D ;D ;D

If I was RCA, this would be a do-or-die single. If it does well, he gets an album - if it flops, he's out the door!
