Well this sucks. So I'm guessing no Moscow too? gah... Maybe not. Moscow concert is not a Sonisphere event, it is a different concert and organizer. No way I can go to Russia though, boo! |

I think the economy is very bad in Europe like it was here a few years back, people just don't have that kind of money. I would not cancel yet Brian will reschedule somewhere else.

Why not Moscow? I'm sure they've signed contracts etc... They've signed contracts for Sonisphere UK too... Sonisphere is a lot more than just Adam and Queen. It affects all of them. Not sure what went wrong but it is not just about Adam/Queen. Not understanding how Sonisphere's fail as a festival affects Moscow having Adam and Queen. |

Yes, this sucks. We love Sonisphere a lot and we love it in the present tense.
We’ve had a few confirmations from people linked to the festival but there’s no official word from the festival promoters, Kilimanjaro as of yet. We understand that an official statement will be made tomorrow, so hold tight.
Obviously, there are a lot of bands affected as well, bands who might not want to work with Sonisphere again after this. Fingers crossed this doesn’t spell the end of a great major metal promoter but it’s not looking good.
We’ve got a full analysis of the reasons behind the cancellation written and prepped, but the article’s on a laptop. A laptop that isn’t connected to the internet. Hail The Cloud. |

I am flabbergasted, and I was not planning to go. I am so, so sorry for all of you who made plans.
I have never heard of an entire festival of this magnitude being cancelled. This is beyond words.
