Oh, sweetie. Don't be sad, it'll be all right. Here, I brought you something: "It'll be all right in the end. If it's not all right, it's not the end." noreaster... thanks for sympathy! and thank you for ice cream! I really love you all! This was supposed to be a once in a lifetime event .... I've never been in any festival or musical event ... And loss of money??? But maybe this will still have something good, everything has a meaning. I hope.

who's taking bets on this? give it a few days, I'll bet they will do a concert on that date somewhere near Knebworth. I hear that the Knebworth House has hosted opera concerts there before. Who knows?

This article is interesting -- thanks for posting it. It sounds like there are too many festivals with very high ticket prices vying for too few people who can afford them. This reminds me of the problems that many concert acts were having here in the U.S. in 2010. High ticket prices, a recession and audience burnout from seeing the same acts touring every year = poor ticket sales that year (except for Adam and a few others). I wonder if the Summer Olympics also affected ticket sales. I would imagine there is a lot of interest in attending, and Olympics tickets aren't cheap. A lot of people might not be able to afford to go to both Sonisphere and the Olympics. It looks like the folks who run the Glastonbury festival were very smart to cancel this year. I hope Adam and Queen can arrange some other concert date for this summer. I hate to see so many people here being disappointed! Keeping my fingers crossed ...

awwww, i know.... But I'm trying to think of it this way-- Adam still has a fantastic album coming out, a single very soon, tons of promo and TV appearances we don't even know about yet. His career is and will be fine. I wanted this Queen gig for him because it would have been amazing and epic, but I guess it just wasn't to be. I'm still hoping/thinking that they'll schedule something in its place. None of this is Adam's fault. If the organizers couldn't sell enough tickets, that's on them. If Queen isn't a big enough draw, that would be no different no matter who was singing with them. And I'm not saying it was all on Queen to provide the draw, either. Let's blame KISS instead
