I grieve that the Sonicsphere performance has been cancelled.  However, I acknowledge that the universe may have a bigger plan. Adam has done the Queen thing at the EMAs and it was marvelous. Maybe the universe is saying Been there done that and move on. Who knows? I was so looking forward to this and to the experiences of all of ATOP, but I remain positive and wonder what is next. 2 hours to go if this poll is closing tonight. WLL is trending on twitter. Mostly about Adam's AI performance Hm, dunno about that. I've just taken a look at the Whole Lotta Love trend and it's mostly about this Elise women, how she nailed it, TBH. When I looked about 15 minutes ago, it was mostly about Adam. Thinks the fandom has chilled out fast. |

Looking forward to seeing the WLL performance. I really don't mind if someone else did a good job on it (in fact, it might make Idol somewhat interesting this season - so far I haven't watched it, it's been soooo bad from the snippets I've seen).
I don't think WLL "belongs" to Adam, even though he did an AMAZING job on it. Adam had his Idol moment. Now he's on to bigger and better things. Any Idolette would be extremely lucky to have the post-Idol career Adam has had so far.

I just watched Elise on Idol. She's my favorite girl this year and I liked her version of WLL, but I don't think her version can fairly be compared to Adam's. Hers was more of a shiny, happy Idol version. She bounced around the stage whereas Adam stalked. She grinned, where Adam sneered. When she said she wanted to give every inch of her love, I pictured extra hearts on a love letter, more romance, etc. When Adam said he wanted to give every inch of his love, .... You get the picture.

I haven't watched Idol yet, west coast, but I hope it does really well this season so that lots of people will be watching Adam's performance.
