I enjoyed this very much, he was so funny, relaxed, positive... He recognized Renee Snyder, which was so cool... He seemed relaxed and undisturbed when asked about Queen. It's nice to know he'll be playing the second single on Idol. And since he hasn't practised Naked Love, I guess it falls out of the equasion... Methinks NCOE or Cuckoo. Why can't we post vimeo vids here? Absolute hits: I don't like pussy / I want that electro shock! I have to see it again for more yes, i thought it was cool when he pointed to Renee. He seems to remember fans a lot - and that is very cool.

I have a feeling there might be something crazy on the bridge because Adam basically didn't sing a bridge with lyrics! I believe it! From what I heard the bridge part of the snippet is way better than the chorus, at least IMHO. I think it's quite interesting because I usually love the chorus of the song the most. Although at first I didn't like the song I can say now that NCOE is great ♥ And I have a feeling that the song have even more potential than it seemed I hope this is true. The snippet was so bland. I genuinely dislike it. Though I still find the lyrics banal, I like the acoustic versions much better and hear more potential in the song there. As usual Adam elevates the material with his passion. What I worry about with the snippet is that it sounds as if all the passion has been smoothed out of it. I'm trying to get my mind right about NCOE since if it is the next single I will have to live with it front and center for a while -- voting and requesting and the like. So anything positive about it is a help. It also cheered me up that Bruno and his fans have been so nice.

The same statement from Brian May's soapbox: www.brianmay.com/whatsnew.htmlWe are disappointed to hear of the cancellation of the Sonisphere Festivals as we were very much looking forward to performing with Adam Lambert and particularly as the venue was Knebworth, our last stand with Freddie. We apologise for the disappointment to all those who were looking forward to seeing us. We are working to see if we can redress the situation at some other venue.Roger Taylor and Brian May. People with available venues on 7/7 would have to be crazy if they're not trying to contact Queen. I'm hoping that they'll be able to schedule something for the same night, and that it's not too far from Stevenage, for those who have paid for nonrefundable hotel rooms. They're not going to reschedule this one in the US. It isn't just people from the US who were flying in. Fans from all over the world bought tickets. They aren't going to make those people switch their airline tickets to someplace in the US. So, crossing my fingers, because I have an nonrefundable hotel room in London during the week before! But I think I'm going to still be a sad kitty until we hear some news.

8-) I can imagine why someone would dislike this especially when compared with the live performance, but this is how I see it. This sound is the gayest part of Adam's music, in the most positive sense. It's the thumpa-thumpa of a gay club, it's the gay pulse. I love it, I remember Adam saying he was a club kid back in the day, so it just brings a smile on my face because I can imagine dancing under the disco ball. Or under the strobe lights/ laser beams, he's not that old. Maybe he doesn't go out as much because he can't, being a celebrity, but it's still in his veins. As it should be. I have a feeling I'll be torn to shreds because of this, but what the heck 8-)

I have been afraid to post about this here, but since you did, I will go ahead and say what I have been thinking about. Does anybody else remember how MTV wouldn’t play any black artists until Michael Jackson broke through with Thriller? I do. I think Adam could play that type of role for gays with Trespassing. Everything I’ve heard about Trespassing makes me think Adam made an amazing gay record for a mostly straight audience, the way that Thriller was an amazing black record that took dead aim at white America. That is, I have so much hope that Adam has created something special, something new under the sun. Something both modern and classic – electric future funk. Right now we are still searching for the means of forcing open the locked gates, the way Jackson did. Bring it on. This is history in the making, folks. One of the reasons I'm here!
