I kinda wish Adam would play the next single at the NNN awards but since they haven't decided yet guess that's not happening. Still, can't wait to stay up 'til like 3 am to watch Adam on Idol (and then be a zombie the next morning)!! :D Yay!  We don't know that. He didn't say he is premiering it on Idol. He just said he was singing the n ext single on Idol. I hope it isn't a premiere! I'd like to see the new single out the week of 4/10 which is NNN week! A month on radio, before Idol and the album dorp would be perfect!  I was just saying that because they're taping in a week (April 5th right?). If he's playing the new single they need to make a decision fast. But I'm not putting it aside, it's not the first time news like these are dropped out of nowhere. |

So late with this. But OMG YAY!! He's going to perform new single on Idol in MAY!!!!!!!!!! HOPING FOR MAY 17! Yes, May 17th would be my guess.  Oh lmao. I just listened to the Star 101.3 interview and posted that as soon as I finished. Went back through the thread and read, and realized that no one was talking about it. Are any idols confirmed for any of the available days for May or April? |

In my totally uninformed opinion, the second single needs to come out at least several weeks before the album in order to get noticed, pick up momentum, and drive people towards an album purchase. So, Adam premiering it on Idol in May doesn't make sense to me.
I'm not sure premiering it on NNN makes a whole lot of sense either. We fans would love to hear it, but, we are hoping to recruit non-fans, right? And, as we saw from one of Adam's recent appearances, they seem to want a song they are familiar with. Oh, please, not WWFM, no, but .. would BTIKM get recognized? Oh, hell, what do I know.

It's a shame eveyone takes these so seriously, they're supposed to be fun! Agreed. That's why I don't participate in these because in the end all it amounts to is the website getting hits and bragging rights for the winning fandom. Unless Adam or the participants win something it won't be worth getting frustrated over. JMHO. YMMV. Thanks reihmer. I've been trying to figure out a nice way of asking if these voting things matter as far as helping Adam's career, radio play, etc. Now I don't feel like a bad fan for not participating. |

WHY HASN'T ANYONE COMMENTED ON ADAM SAYING HE IS SINGING THE NEXT SINGLE ON IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS THE FIRST CONFIRMATION OF A NEW SINGLE BEFORE THE ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!  YAY!! But I hope he premiers it much earlier so it has time to build!!! |
