Rolling Stone review referred to Madonnas's new album as disco. Headline: Madonna opens up like never before on a disco-fied divorce record. Print version p. 67, 3/29/2012. They didn't mean it in a negative way from what I could tell. Gave her album 3 and 1/2 stars. Nile Rogers talked in his book about the time when disco became uncool back in his day. I'm not an expert, but I know the term is being used again for a certain type of current dance music. I know this because the dance music my son makes is often categorized in the house nu-disco genre.

No typo. Boy George's tweet said, "How's it going, kid?" And Adam replied, "Going great!" Oh I'm sorry but my alibi is that I'm not a native speaker :-/

Actually, I want the "Cuckoo" vid most of all (though "Trespassing" would also be great). It frustrates me greatly that NCOE will put him AGAIN in that awkward position of doing a visual representation of a romantic song without depicting a love relationship where with the other two, it's not relevant. I also think that "Cuckoo" or "Trespassing" are also more likely to foster more narrative and original vids that would be timed perfectly to qualify for VMAs, whereas the NCOE vid might not be as ground-breaking. Not what I'm picturing, anyway, mainly because the song is not as visual as the others IMO. I agree, susie! The video for Cuckoo will be amazing! I just feel it! OK, I am off to do my VH1 voting now! t.co/LolDa3TaAnd Adam wants to make a Cuckoo video. He talks about it frequently, and he seems so excited about it.

Adam wants to be a Pop star. I want what he wants Random thought, Adam has the bendiest/curviest thumbs I ever saw. I noticed it first when he finished his "chair interview" on Idol and made it into the Top 36. He gives the thumbs-up and I kind of chuckle every time I see that shot. This shot reminded me of that.

Does anyone else cringe a bit when Adam uses the word "disco" when describing his new album? I personally loved the disco era, but it has a fairly negative connotation in a lot of circles. I have heard him use more current terms to describe the sound. I think he should just stick with that. Not that I am saying what adam should or shouldn't do.... blah blah blah. Not me! Makes me excited, LOL. The promise of the funk-disco combo on Adam's CD has me so hyped I can hardly stand it. But I know what you mean. I remember Nile Rodgers talking about how Chic was suddenly on the outs when disco went out of fashion. There was a time when disco wasn't cool, but I think it may be one of those things that's so out it's in again. Maybe "the kids," as Adam calls them, are too young to have any negative connotations with the term disco (I guess journalists and music critics are a different story). I think good disco is timeless, and still sounds fresh to my ears, and hopefully Adam's disco sauce (with the mix of more modern influences and production) will sound fresh and current on today's radio. For the past couple of weeks I've been listening to my Off the Wall album almost all the time, when I'm not listening to the snippets, because--as we were already told--sounds in Adam's new songs really do remind me strongly of MJ's album and I just had a hankering to hear it. Once I started I couldn't stop! It really is one of my most favorite albums of all time. It's just fantastic from top to bottom. I'm really happy that Trespassing is influenced by that album/era. I sent that "Shit Adam Stans Say" clip to my daughter in college and she TOTALLY spazed out over the Trespassing bit - "I had to google it to hear it again!!! Great song!!" (This from a die-hard hip/hop, urban station listener). When I watched that video and heard how amazing and perfect the "Trespassing" and "Cuckoo" clips sound there it just convinced me more than ever how well they would fit on radio. I refuse to think about NCOE being the next single until it's an irrefutable fact or it will totally ruin my disco-flavored happy mood!

Adam isn't exactly getting a week off after a grueling March, is he? More promo Monday, and I guess he'll have to schedule some rehearsal time for the NNN performance. Who knows what else is on the schedule?!? :

Susie I read palms for fun and a thumb like that suggests a person who has a very flexible side (they are not rigid). So i love his thumbs!

My thumbs are like Adam's, I can get pretty much 90 degree flex and my fingers flex back about 45 degrees. I've freaked people out for years with my bendy digits. LOL
