I think the placement of Adam's VH1 video is due to lack of radio spins and therefore sales and definitely not for lack of votes. My theory is that when you go to the voting page the way the videos are set out tells who is getting the most votes. Adam is often at number 1 and very rarely out of the top row. He definitely would have been No1 if the votes were all that mattered. I thought I read somewhere that his placement on the screen doesn't reflect the standing. I'm wondering if it reflects our individual votes. He's number one on my screen, too, but someone who votes for Adele may have her in the number one spot. The reason I thought that may be the case is that a dj last week referred to how our Adam comes up as the third Adam when he searches YouTube, after Levine and Sandler. But when I search Adam, Adam Lambert comes up first. In fact, there are several Adam Lambert lines before Levine and Sandler. Just like if I order shoes online, shoe ads are all over the place for a few days/weeks. Big Brother is definitely here... I voted several times today, and he was the 2nd box on the top row.. then I refreshed again to vote, and now he's 4th row down, and the 19th video, if you count across the rows.  |

Regarding getting a third single -- there are no simple rules like Adam needs to have single #2 go to #5 on HAC. Yeah, I know there aren't any simple rules. It's just my general opinion and feeling that Adam will need to have a decent hit this time around with #2 to get a #3. A song usually needs to make it to the top 5 of the HAC charts (without CHR play) to be considered a "hit". If single #2 gets in the top 20 on CHR, it doesn't really matter what it does on HAC! Also, what I mean by getting single #3 is getting it with FULL SUPPORT! I don't want a single thrown out there without the kind of full support #1 and #2 had. This level of label support is pretty much a must today, unless something happens like what happened with "We are Young"- which is a rarity! I just wanted to point out there is no rulebook when it comes to singles. Just like there is no definition of a "hit". If Adam gets a Top 15 Pop track (with or without HAC airplay) seems likely that there would be a third single. But I think in the end, the promo strategy like everything else will come down to sales prospects. |

Thank you so much. Making a Cd for my car to listen to until May 15th when Trespassing comes out. Soooo excited for the new music. I love all the new songs, probably partial to Trespassing and Cuckoo especially after watching him perform them. My guess is the new single will be Cuckoo or NCOE. I played the songs for my daughter (22) and of course being an Adam fan, she loved them all. Her favorite was Cuckoo. Im interested to hear the CD version of NCOE. Thanks to everyone who brought over so many wonderful interviews, tweets and performances. I agree with all my heart - this is a wonderful place!!! |

Luckily Adam has given us so many great songs so that we can afford to debate which one would make the best second single Adam sounded nice in this Finnish interview I like his 'unpremeditated' attitude, lol.
