Since we are talking about singles, I have a question. Do labels always check with radio PD's to see if they will like and play a song before releasing it as a single or do they sometimes just throw something out there without any feedback? By the way, I think it's time for Adam to take chances and put out singles that reflect him as a artist and TP and Cuckoo are the ones that do that. If they play it safe again with NCOE it's still not showing who Adam is as an artist because the one hit he has was written by Pink and now if NCOE becomes his next hit, it will be the Bruno song. Granted, a hit is a hit, but I still want Adam to have his own identity like Adele and Bruno have. Anyway, my favorites are TP and Cuckoo and I think Cuckoo should be the next single although I'd be happy with TP too (just that it might be too risky). I'm about ready for too risky though, since not risky enough isn't working anyway.

One thing is sure, RCA and Adam have gotten a lot of feedback from PDs. And they even tested the tracks. The only hints we had on these tracks was from the UK where the DJs, PDs and press heard Trespassing and Cuckoo -- and most reports were that Cuckoo was the hit single. We'll see. I really think that they can't go wrong with these four tracks. And none involve Dr. Luke or Claude Kelly -- so that is a good sign. ;D ;D ;D Wrong, Q3! Dr Luke was brought in to "finish" production to NCOE, remember! Ollie was the original producer and for some reason, Luke was added. Although, Ollie and Luke do work together a lot. Another reason why when Adam said, "It hits hard" it scared me! I honestly think Luke has a problem with singers that can sing. Too many tricks up his bag to cover up bad vocals that are not necessary for Adam. Well, in a few weeks we shall all know and unfortunately, RCA isn't consulting any of us. Too bad because I think the opinions here are great! I think I blocked that out!! But he just did some additional production. I am trying to be optimistic that he did not f'ck up this track. (Sorry, but I am not a Dr. Luke fan -- at least not a fan of Dr. Luke +Adam.) I am in a no worries zone. And I am staying there.

It became his and I see no problem with Adam singing a song written by someone else if he makes it his own like he did with WWFM and it achieves the success that WWFM did. I would say that most people identify WWFM with Adam and don't know or care that Pink wrote it. I sure don't want RCA to "risky" him right off the charts or radio or Grammy possibilities.

But Pink gets paid for it every time it is played -- not Adam. That's why having a writing credit is so important. And I would not worry about RCA being too risky -- they will remain conservative.
