NOOOOOOO!!!!! BTIKM dropped to #18 on VH1 top 20! He started at 17, then 15, 11 (?) and now #18. At this rate, he will be out by next week! Compared to WWFM and IIHY where both reached #1 and stayed for weeks, this saddens me. And I really love this video.  Do you think this could be because fans have been busy watching promo videos and voting on that MTV contest? If we really get busy we might be able to get it back up toward the top. Going there now! We need to hit VH1 with all of our combined focus this week. There have been so many things to watch, and we have been listening to Adam sing new songs. We need to remember to vote for this one until the next one comes out!
We love this MV, and Adam is so proud of it; Let's GO!

I managed to vote on VH1 the same amount daily as usual, but I was wondering if others were taking the time to do so with everything else happening last week. It would have been easy for me to skip a day or two, since I was busy like everyone else, but I didn't want to see the number go down today. Let's all double down this week! |

I think the fact that the voting system changed and Glamberts can no longer vote for hours and hours a day is the reason why BTIKM didn't do as well as WWFM and IIHY. |

Off topic but posting an update here because so many of you cared... That extended family member I mentioned who was having such a hard time in his conservative college environment, with encouragement, now feels empowered enough to change his situation. He is transferring to another school with a more liberal environment for the fall. He put together a sound, reasonable plan for himself, informed his parents calmly about what he was doing and how it would benefit him, and said he hoped he would have their support, but understood their decision was up to them, just as his decisions about his life were up to him to make. His family is sticking with him. "Aftermath" came up somewhere in our conversations; he is shedding his armour and already he is starting to feel like he has fallen into the glitter. Adam gave this as one of his favorite lyrics recently, and now it has another added layer of meaning for me. I am so glad Adam is out there being visible and real. Wonderful news!!! So happy to hear when people take control of their lives. I think that was a lesson that took me a long time to learn. That even if I couldn't control what was happening I could control how I reacted and how it impacted me. Choosing happiness was such a foreign idea to me but little by little I made it work and eventually changed my situation as well. Please keep us updated even if it is just in the members thread. |

I think the placement of Adam's VH1 video is due to lack of radio spins and therefore sales and definitely not for lack of votes.
My theory is that when you go to the voting page the way the videos are set out tells who is getting the most votes. Adam is often at number 1 and very rarely out of the top row. He definitely would have been No1 if the votes were all that mattered.

I have totally lost my mind on this radio promo tour!! I managed to keep every other tour straight but this criss-crossy, packed tour is just mind-boggling. Did we know he was calling into Sacramento last night or did that just get announced yesterday afternoon on the station? ETA: In the world of charts.....
