Last night a couple peeps posted that they saw an Idol promo featuring Adam and Aftermath performance on FOX. Has anyone seen of YT of this? If so, please post.
I am not nervous about Adam's performance, just really excited, and hope I can watch in real time. I will DVR it, but not sure yet if I can watch when it is on. Hubby still not AFL - friendly, and he may or may not be home yet from his trip.
Now with the tweets from Brooke and Sasha about seeing the glamily and NOH8, I am wondering if they are going to do a special dance performance to go with the song?
Still hoping Adam does at least part of the "dance mix" on the show.

Last night I wanted to reply to HoppersSkippersMiners about her birthday party woes, but I was on my phone and it is REALLY hard to post from there. Sorry for being WAY late....
I also have an only child and we had his first big birthday party when he turned 4. He was a very sensitive child (still is!) and was very concerned that kid's feelings would be hurt if they weren't invited - so we invited his entire Montessori class (about 15 kids) and his neighborhood/local friends. Fortunately, with a May birthday, we were able to have it out in the yard with party games and a pinata. I was concerned about the "too many gifts" part of it and that is what I wanted to tell you about. My only child has 6 grandparents (hubby's parents divorced and remarried when he was very young) and a great-grandma - between all of them and us, he has more stuff than he can possibly play with!
We included with the birthday invites information about an organization called Operation Teddy Care (http://teddycare.coastside.net/). They collect new teddy bears that are used at children's hopitals, by emergency services like police & firemen (they keep one in their car to give to a child whenever needed), send to disaster sites and whereever else they are needed. This is a totally grass-roots organization. We requested that each child bring a teddy bear to donate instead of a gift (and if the child REALLY wanted to bring a gift, that it be something small as the true gift would be the teddy bear)
Not long before this, the Chicago Tribune had a photo of a US Soldier carrying an Iraqi girl out of the rubble of a bombed out home. Our son had seen the photo (this taught us to hide the newspaper each morning!) and was very concerned about the little girl. This was something that bothered him for weeks. We suggested to him that we could ask if they could send the teddy bears to children in Iraq and he loved the idea. The other children and families also seemed to enjoy the idea and we collected over 20 bears at the party. Operation Teddy Care had to figure out how to get the bears to Iraq and about a month or so later they were taken there by a doctor who gave them to children at a hospital. He carried them in his duffle bag!
The next year, as we started planning my son's birthday party, his first question was "who shall we give the teddy bears to this year?" (Those went to firefighters to give to children at fire scenes as 2 children in our town had recently died in a fire)
Personally, I do not much enjoy children's birthday parties - I'm not a kid person and having tons of them underfoot is not my idea of fun - however, the memories of those kids donating to a charity (and one they could understand) and really being happy about it, makes every one of those parties worth it.

The sound on this download is crap, but for the legs view, it is worth downloading and worth watching. The angle of the camera is perfect! (It's shallow Tuesday, I guess!)
