Ok, I will start by stating that I will love and support and cheer for WHATEVER Adam sings. I think NCOE is beautifully sung and a song I will enjoy when in rotation. BUT... WHY would NCOE be the next single?????? Because, like WWFM, it is a catchy song with great hooks that fits Adam's voice like a glove. NCOE is uptempo and it fits. Bruno's songs fit on Top 40 radio in every corner of the world. Of course not, but when added to the fact that this is a good song, it sure can't hurt. Bruno's name does mean something in Pop music. He's like the male Adele as far as singles go. I expect to see tons of positive press about this, if NCOE is indeed the single. Bruno Mars became Bruno Mars by putting his own music out there. Same with Adele. Adam's music is just as good as theirs, and as a singer and performer he's better than the both of them put together. There's only a limited number of singles Adam can release off of this album, the first one wasn't his, and if now the second one is still isn't his, well, I'll be pissed. If CK's and BM's songs were decidedly better than Adam's, I'd say nothing, but they aren't! |

@shining_Adam everything is NEW! Adam has already performed NCOE a few times. Is it possible that it is a NEW song that no one even knows about? Adam said there were a couple of songs added at the last minute that delayed the album release. I think it is possible that it is something completely NEW! I love surprises!!!!! Thanks, Adam!!!! :  Mahailia: Correct me if I'm wrong, but NCOE was the song added at the last minute. And I doubt that Adam collaborated on more than one song with Bruno. Or maybe rehearsing with Brian London doesn't necessarily mean that NCOE is involved. Let's say something NEW, written by Adam:))) It's not too much of a stretch, is it? |

This reminds me...I got so behind during the March radio promos--I never quite understood what happened with the switch from Kevin accompanying A on keyboards, then guitar--I thought Tommy had left somewhere around NY--then all of a sudden it was all Tommy for the rest of the radio promo...?? Did I miss something? Did you all figure it out when the switch happened? Tommy, Kevin and Isaac played only at Sirius, a performance we never saw, we only have pictures. The rest of NYC promo February Adam was with Kevin. I think I'm not wrong, probably someone else remembers something different. When NYC promo ended , Kevin went back and March promo Adam was with Tommy. ETA I'm not talking about Jezebel Atlanta where the whole band was there of course. But this was not part of the radio promo. I think the Bruno song was known about last summer, b ut when Adam started doing the Tresspassing promo, he didn't say anything about it, so we assumed it didn't make the album. Then, fairly recently, he started talking about it, then started performing it.
I could be wrong, somebody please correct me.
But, Adam did say he was hoping for a colaboration, and I thought he meant a duet, and nothing more has been heard about that.
Plus, he was in Chicago recording a couple of weeks ago, and that could be a new song.
Plus, I think there was something about another song from Dr. Luke, but maybe that is NCOE.
someone more informed than me needs to jump in here.
But, but, but, I like the idea of a totally new song to blow us all away!!!!!
Adam does love surprising us!!!!

I'm not really attached to the next single, but I can't get NCOE out of my head, so the hook is good. I am a little attached to Adam having the best accompanist with him, and sadly, I do not think that is Tommy. I really had not missed Monte much until Kevin was no longer playing with Adam on the radio promos and Tommy took over. He's ok, but not great. Monte and Kevin's guitar were just richer, fuller. So, the radio promo may be coming to an end, but there are some TV moments coming up where the whole band will be there. This is good. The music needs to be backed by an A+ band and Tommy's flaws do not stand out as much when everyone else is present. I think Tommy does have great potential and he is incredibly loyal to Adam and adorable. All of that counts! I don't either like the way Tommy is accompanying Adam. I think he ruins at least all the emotional songs like NCOE. IMO If Bruno's song and Bruno's fans and his name in general will help him break through the US and UK market and make it BIG, we WILL have another single written by Adam, Cuckoo or Trespassing. We had 3 singles from the first album why not for this one too? We are talking here, but we are not the ones who take the risk. I will support everything that they'll decide to go for. |
