OnTopic - Would LOVE him to do Graham Norton! OffTopic- I'm wondering if Adam's incredible voice is a liability instead of an asset for Pop radio. I've been listening a lot recently and realized that hardly any male singers have even a decent singing voice. Most sound weak & strained. That seems to be what listeners like at the moment.  Look - I've learned to like a lot of pop music. Lots of catchy stuff there, but it really hit home to me today that there are so few good singers - especially male. A beat & a hook is what it takes. So I'm hoping with single #2 a beat and a hook AND a beautiful voice will do the trick. |

Problem is that so many pop songs are not written for singer and most producers are used to modifying not showcasing vocals. But I think Adam's vocal talent is a liability because it is so easy to ignore how talented he is in other ways -- as a performer, personality, song arranger, lyricist, etc. His voice just is too powerful (in an emotional and physical sense) to ignore. |

[pats you...]   What I don't get is all the hype about Trespassing being released internationally... EVERYWHERE... at the same time. It just seems that the release date is gonna be different for almost every country. |

OT...received my refund from SEE tickets already..as sad as I am about Sonisphere..  , I am VERY impressed with the speed at which my funds were refunded. Any news from Queen??? UK release of TP now into July..now wouldn't that be...interesting. Please, Queen, another venue...Trespassing hot off the racks and an Adam/ Queen concert in the UK. Could happen. *crossing fingers* I got my money back yesterday. As for the new date falling right into the (Sonisphere) timeframe, I've got everything crossed. Still hoping for a miracle I think :-/. (Going upstairs now, hoping not to trip with crossed eyes  ) |
